Start with the strongest useful asset
Create a Song, an instrumental, an authorized recording, reference, lyric set or other source can be the starting point. Preserve it before making transformations.
Build or convert the vocal identity
Use a clean authorized performance, then decide whether a one-off conversion, platform/community voice or reusable custom voice is the right job.
Repaint or separate what needs attention
Use Repaint for a section-level problem when that control is available in your account, and stems for a component-level problem. Do not destroy material that already works.
Turn the assets into one song
Arrange, edit, comp, mix, compare, document and approve the strongest coherent version.
Start with the clearest asset you already have

Begin with the message, hook, story and emotional destination.
Begin with a hummed phrase, phone recording or complete guide vocal.

Write the song brief before you collect outputs

When a generation produces multiple candidates or you have several versions from repeated tests, compare candidates made under the same conditions before changing another major variable.
What does this candidate already do well enough to protect?
What one section or component prevents it from advancing?
What failure is fundamental enough that repair would cost more than a better source?
Why is this version—not merely the newest one—the correct source for the next step?
Build the vocal deliberately
Use voice conversion when the performance works and the vocal identity is the problem.
Choose a reusable authorized identity when consistency across sections or projects matters. Version and validate the model.

Use Musicfy inside a source-first production system
Start with what the project needs
A creative brief, lyrics, vocal, instrumental, recording, mix or other authorized musical material.
Create the missing control
Generate, prepare, convert, train, Repaint or separate only where the project needs that job and the relevant control is available.
Assemble and finish
Align, comp, arrange, process, automate, mix and export the strongest coherent version when deeper finishing is required.
Finish, regenerate, or hand off?
Go back upstream when the role, performance, timing, timbre, structure, emotional direction or identity is fundamentally wrong. A bad source should not be polished into submission.
Preserve the keeper when the musical identity is approved and only one section, vocal phrase, component, transition or local production problem is failing.
Move to stems, a capable editor, DAW, replacement performance or human-directed production when exact timing, comping, alignment, automation, phase, detailed EQ/dynamics or balance is the real job.

Use repair status to label every part: keep, repair or replace
Already serving the song. Preserve it.
Useful but flawed. Repaint a section when available, or fix timing, balance, one phrase or transition in the narrowest environment that exposes the needed control.
Blocking the result. Use stems, a new performance or another targeted replacement—only for the asset that failed.

Rebuild in your DAW
- Import the approved source/reference mix.
- Place related stems and replacement assets at the correct start point.
- Confirm timing and alignment before creative changes.
- Comp the strongest vocal or instrument sections.
- Correct obvious problems before adding effects.
- Use EQ, compression, de-essing, ambience and automation only where the song needs them.
- Compare regularly against the approved source/reference and the brief.
- Save rollback versions before major changes.
Review the finished track five ways
Does the emotional journey make sense? Is the hook memorable? Does the ending feel earned?
Did the voice, genre, signature elements and recognizable project character survive the production chain?
Check lyric clarity, edits, timing, harsh consonants, artifacts and level consistency.
Check mud, low-end conflicts, overcrowding, phase, transitions and section energy.
Test headphones, phone speaker, computer speaker and another playback system.
Keep a creation and source-lineage record
A finished file should be traceable back through the important decisions that created it. Keep the original source or brief, selected Musicfy candidate, voice/model and permission context, important Musicfy operations, replacement assets, DAW/editor files, why major versions advanced, and the location of the approved export.
