AI Music Is Just the Beginning. Here's What We're Building at JACK RIGHTEOUS.

We recognized early that helping people generate music would only solve the first part of a much bigger problem. Now we're connecting the lessons, tools and personal support that help creators build on what they make—without asking them to gamble their future on a shortcut.

Already available: a published 16-module AI Music Technology Level 1 learning path, free starting resources and deeper training for people who want to keep improving. Happening through October: a major overhaul of how the online course is introduced, taught, applied and connected from one lesson to the next.

Why Jack Righteous exists

We saw where AI creation was going. We built around what people would need next.

When I started working seriously with AI music, the conversation was dominated by what the technology could generate. How quickly could it make a track? How realistic could the voice sound? Could somebody make a whole song without knowing how to produce music?

Those questions got people interested. I could see another, more important set of questions coming: What happens once almost anybody can create something? Who knows how to improve it? Who understands their part in making it? Who can take it into a real project, document the work, prepare it for an appropriate use and build on the experience?

That's the direction I've been building toward at JackRighteous.com. Not simply a Suno tutorial site, and not a place where creators are told to generate more and hope something takes off. A connected environment for people who want to learn, make, revise, finish, present and keep growing.

It's a marathon, not a sprint. I say this in my consultations because I believe it. You might create something worthwhile in an afternoon. Developing a sound, a body of work, reliable skills or a business around it takes repetition, decisions and time. I'm not going to promise you fame, money or a creative career in thirty days. I want to help you make the time you spend learning count.

You don't have to want a record deal to belong here. Maybe you make music because you love it. Maybe you want to produce for other people, score a scene, create audio for content or explore work you never thought you could do. The point is to give you a sensible place to begin—and a way to go further when you're ready.

October 2026 · The online program

We're not starting from zero. We're making an established training system easier to use.

There is already a published 16-module AI Music Technology Level 1 course in the protected JR training area. Those lessons sit alongside the wider Find Your Sound, Find Your Voice and Find Your Brand resources, working templates, project records, creator tools and ongoing guidance.

That breadth is useful only if you can find what matters to your project. A huge archive that leaves somebody confused is not a complete learning experience. I'm working through the lessons and connected site pages during October to give people a clearer starting point, stronger instruction, realistic exercises and a consistent way to record progress.

Module 1, Creative Intent Comes Before Generation, is already receiving that treatment: a dedicated Core 16 design, clearer examples, an applied exercise and a handoff into an ongoing Project Record. The work continues through the remaining modules and onboarding pages.

The status matters:

The 16 Level 1 lessons already exist and are published. The improved end-to-end teaching, navigation, member experience and class-ready supporting materials are still being reviewed and implemented through October. This announcement is a progress update, not a claim that every part of the redesign has been tested or completed.

What makes this different from another AI tips page?

The goal is a system you can return to. Understand an idea for free. Use guided lessons and examples to improve it. Keep the decisions and versions organized. When you need deeper help, use the right worksheet, case study or consultation. As your work changes, the recommended next step should change with it.

That's also why I'm building the site as a living training experience rather than selling a fixed collection of instructions that goes stale after the next software update.

The Core 16 · What you actually work toward

One project. Sixteen opportunities to get better.

Instead of collecting another batch of random AI outputs every week, you're encouraged to bring one project forward. You give it direction, explore possibilities, learn to hear what is and isn't working, make real changes and save evidence of the process.

01–04 · DIRECT
Know what you're making.

Define the purpose, decide who or what the music serves, get comfortable with the tools and make your first controlled generation.

05–08 · BUILD
Learn to shape the sound.

Work on style, structure, vocals or instrumentals, generation instructions and useful comparisons. Learn to recognize when a version is moving in the right direction.

09–12 · IMPROVE
Do more than regenerate.

Explore editing, source audio you are authorized to use, conventional production tools and quality evaluation. Learn when to revise, replace or move forward.

13–16 · PREPARE
Show what you did and what the project can do.

Document your human contribution, rights and source questions, organize the work, prepare files for a defined use and explain your next steps.

At the end, the aim is a piece of work you can present with confidence about the process: what you intended, what you tried, what you changed, why the selected result works better and which questions still need resolving. Those are the building blocks of a real portfolio.

You can apply the methods to songs and instrumentals now, and develop related skills for promotional audio, soundtracks, spoken-word support or client work as the training expands. Suno is our main music-generation teaching platform, but the underlying thinking isn't limited to one company or one app.

Completing lessons is not a guaranteed job, placement, release, copyright outcome or income. It is a way to develop your skills and demonstrate how you work.

Why this deserves a serious look

The work is connecting with music education and the industry. That matters.

I'm proud that the way we approach AI music is now part of a larger professional conversation. I'm joining the Cash Money Records / E&A Talent Elite Coaching Program at Musitechnic / Collège Unica as the independent specialist responsible for its dedicated AI music education component.

That brings together a music school, people working in artist and talent development, and a record-label-connected program with substantial industry experience. It's an opportunity to apply practical AI music education in a serious setting—not just talk about where the technology might be going.

I see that as meaningful progress for JACK RIGHTEOUS. It reinforces why we've been focusing on human creative direction, revision, production habits, rights questions and work that students can actually explain and use.

It also makes me more determined to provide an affordable independent route on JackRighteous.com. Not everyone needs—or can take—the same institutional program. Creators working from home should still have access to practical guidance, useful tools and the chance to build skills at their own pace.

Important distinction: JR online memberships and the separate Elite Coaching Program are different offers. A JR subscription is not school enrollment, and this collaboration is not a claim that the school, agency or label endorses every JR retail product.

A realistic place to begin

You don't have to know your entire destination. You just need a useful next step.

Some visitors have never generated a song. Others already have hundreds of tracks and don't know which one to finish, release or build around. Some know their artistic direction and need production help. Others need to work out what they want to say or who their work is for.

Those are different situations. They shouldn't all receive the same complicated checklist on day one.

My recommendation is simple: start with the free material, choose one project, try the next exercise, and see what you actually need. The Free Creator Labs are a good public starting point. For music, the TP1 FIND foundation helps you give an idea direction. Eligible members can continue through the Core 16 roadmap.

Want to see the philosophy applied to a real song? Look at my Coffee Shop Romance before-and-after case study. Your early work doesn't have to be perfect to become useful evidence of how far you've come.

Affordable ongoing learning · Real working support

Paid access needs to earn its place. Here's what you're paying for.

I want someone with a modest budget to have a genuine path into better work. I also want the people paying to support what we're building to see a clear difference: deeper training, practical tools, updated eligible materials and actual access to focused guidance.

The goal isn't to make you buy the most expensive option. It's to make sure you understand what your time and money are helping you accomplish.

What affordable means here: You can start free, choose a one-time toolkit if that's enough, or pay for an active learning relationship when you need continuing training and support. The value should come from work you can apply—not from a promise that purchasing a membership changes your life overnight.

These are the listed Canadian-dollar options reviewed October 13, 2026. Annual subscription choices also exist.
