Use Musicfy When the Vocal Layer Is the Job
This is the voice-specific branch of the Musicfy system. If you are starting with an idea and need Musicfy to create the song itself, use Create a Song first. Come here when the blocker is vocal identity, conversion, a reusable trained voice, source cleanup or voice-focused transformation.
Access distinction: training a custom voice and using that voice to target a brand-new full-song generation are separate capabilities. Starter currently supports up to two trained voices but no full-song Voice Targeting. Current public access shows Voice Targeting on the Professional and Studio subscription plans. Inside Create a Song, the deeper interface itself is called Pro mode. JR uses “Pro mode” for the interface and “Professional plan” for the subscription.

Train your own voice model
You want a reusable model based on source audio you have the right to use, then need a controlled way to test whether the model serves the project.
Prepare a cleaner source
You need to reduce instrumental bleed, reverb or noise before conversion, or separate stems so the vocal job can be handled independently.
Create the whole song first
If no useful song exists yet, this is not primarily a voice problem. Use Musicfy Create a Song in Simple or Pro mode, then return here only if the vocal layer needs additional control.
Diagnosis matters: a voice tool cannot repair the wrong song, weak writing, poor arrangement or unclear creative direction. Identify what must change before choosing the workflow.

The six-step Musicfy Voice Transformation Loop
DEFINE
Name the vocal job. What must remain—timing, melody, emotion, pronunciation, phrasing—and what are you intentionally changing?
PREPARE
Use the cleanest legal source you can. Save the original. Isolate or clean the vocal before conversion when needed.
CHOOSE
Select an appropriate voice or your own trained model. Check the usage permissions attached to that voice and your current plan.
CONVERT
Run a small controlled test first. Keep the source and core settings stable long enough to hear what the voice change actually did.
COMPARE
Judge identity, intelligibility, pitch stability, artifacts, emotion and fit with the song.
DECIDE
Keep, repair, retest or stop. Save the winning export, source, model/voice used and the reason the version advanced.
Using a trained voice inside Create a Song Pro mode
The current Create a Song interface includes Sing in my voice. That creates a direct bridge between this voice branch and the full-song generator. Train and validate the voice here; then, if your project calls for full-song generation with that voice, use a subscription that currently includes Voice Targeting and move back to Pro mode so you can change that variable deliberately.

A real cross-platform custom-voice case is now live.
An established Suno vocal identity was used to train a Musicfy custom voice. Musicfy then generated a development pass using that voice, and the Musicfy output was returned to Suno as Audio source material. That gives this voice workflow a concrete case for testing identity continuity, drift, artifacts and creator intervention. It does not establish a universal winner; the controlled listening score remains open.
Rights and consent are part of the workflow
- Use source recordings and voices you are authorized to use.
- Do not assume every visible voice carries the same commercial rights.
- Check the exact voice/model and plan before publishing or selling the result.
- Keep source files, consent/authorization, project dates and model information with the project record.
Technical ability to generate or transform audio is not the same as permission to use it.
