Stop Asking AI to “Make This More Engaging”

“Make this engaging” sounds useful. It is usually a request for decoration before diagnosis. The better question is: why would someone keep going?

AI should diagnose before it decorates.

Engaging how?

More dramatic? Shorter? More emotional? More controversial? More entertaining? More useful?

If I give AI a paragraph and say, “Make this more engaging,” it has to guess what is wrong. That is how useful information gets turned into louder copy without becoming a better story.

Original

Suno has announced that a new generation of models is coming and previous models will be retired when the new models launch.

Lazy AI treatment

HUGE changes are coming to Suno—and creators need to prepare NOW!

Better story question

If the model changes underneath the workflow, which parts of what we have learned still work?

The third version does not need more hype. It has a consequence, an unresolved question and a reason to test.

Use the eight-part story map as a diagnosis.

The Make People Care system sits before the Bee Righteous campaign framework. It finds and strengthens the story. Then Bee Righteous helps determine whether the campaign is ready, aligned, transparent, repeatable and safe enough to execute.

1

CHANGE — What materially happened?

Ask AI to separate confirmed changes from assumptions, predictions and marketing language.

Ask: What has materially changed here? Separate confirmed facts from assumptions, predictions and promotional claims.

That protects one of the most important things in current AI coverage: accuracy. For example, as of September 8, 2026, Suno has announced a new generation of models, but I cannot verify “V6” as Suno’s official public name for that model. The story is stronger when we say what we know and leave the unknowns open.

2

STAKES — Who is affected and why?

A fact becomes a creator story when the audience can see what it might change for them.

Ask: Give me the practical consequences of this change for beginners, active users and advanced creators. Do not exaggerate risk.

A beginner may wonder whether to learn the current workflow. An experienced creator may wonder whether existing prompting carries forward. A Studio user may care much more about production workflow than model naming. Different people enter through different stakes.

3

CURIOSITY — What do we genuinely not know?

Ask: What important questions cannot be answered yet from the available evidence?

This is where AI becomes useful for finding the edge of the evidence. We do not need to manufacture a mystery. We need to identify the real unanswered questions that are worth investigating.

4

EXPERIENCE — What can I actually do?

Ask: Which of these questions can I test, demonstrate or experience myself rather than merely write about?

That changes the content engine. Instead of waiting for more news, I can compare prompts, genres, vocal direction, arrangement instructions, old workflows, Studio behavior and a song I already know well.

5

MOVEMENT — What changed during the experience?

This is where AI can act as an editor rather than an author.

Ask: Looking only at my actual notes, where did my expectation, confidence, frustration or conclusion genuinely change? Do not invent an emotion that is not present.

Research on emotionality flips suggests that changes in emotional direction can help engagement, particularly when a story remains easy to follow. The useful rule is simple: find the real movement; never script fake emotion around the result.

Research: Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, 2026.

6

PROOF — What can I show?

Ask: Which important claims in this story can be demonstrated rather than merely stated?

If I say the vocal sounds cleaner, can you hear the comparison? If I say a prompt behaves differently, can I show both prompt and result? If I say a workflow changed, can I show the before and after?

Proof gives the audience permission to decide for themselves.
7

PAYOFF — Did I fulfil the promise?

Ask: What promise did my opening make, and where exactly does the content fulfil it?

If the headline asks whether the old prompting method still works, somewhere in the content I need to answer: yes, no, or it depends—and show why.

JR safeguard: Curiosity earns attention. Proof earns trust. The answer earns the return visit.
8

PARTICIPATION — What can the audience do next?

Ask: What is the most useful next action for this reader, including options that do not require buying anything?

Maybe the right next step is to try the prompt. Compare a song. Read the next article. Download the Creator Starter Kit. Go deeper into Find Your Sound. The road should fit the person, not simply the product I want to sell.

The prompt I actually want creators to use.

This is deliberately not a “magic prompt.” It is a thinking prompt.

Analyze this as a real creator story before rewriting anything. Identify: 1. CHANGE — What materially happened? 2. STAKES — Why might the intended audience care? 3. CURIOSITY — What meaningful question remains unresolved? 4. EXPERIENCE — What can be tested, demonstrated or experienced? 5. MOVEMENT — Where does the real experience change emotionally or intellectually? 6. PROOF — What evidence can support the important claims? 7. PAYOFF — What answer or useful result must the audience receive? 8. PARTICIPATION — What is the most useful next action? Do not invent urgency, conflict, emotion, facts or personal reactions. Flag anything unsupported. Preserve my actual point of view and experience. Only after completing that analysis, recommend how the story should be structured.

Notice what is missing: “Go viral.” “Create FOMO.” “Make it irresistible.”

I am not asking AI to manipulate the reader. I am asking it to help identify whether the story actually has a reason to be followed.

Human story. AI amplification.

This is the line I want to keep.

Research has found that perceived AI authorship of emotional brand communication can reduce authenticity and downstream outcomes such as positive word of mouth and loyalty. The negative effect is smaller when AI is being used around factual communication or more as an editor than as the source of the emotional message.

That reinforces the division of labour.

Good jobs for AI

  • Researcher
  • Critic
  • Story analyst
  • Editor
  • Fact checker and source challenger
  • Repurposing assistant
  • Production assistant
  • QA

What remains human

  • What I actually experienced
  • What I actually believe
  • What surprised or disappointed me
  • What I am willing to stand behind
  • The conclusion I reach from the evidence

Then hand the story to Bee Righteous.

This series does not create a second campaign framework.

Make People Care answers: Is there a real story here, and why would somebody follow it?

Bee Righteous answers: Is this campaign clear, aligned, transparent, safe and repeatable enough to continue?

Then the existing seven-post sequence gives each piece of content a job: Hook, Meaning, Identity, Process, Engagement, Proof and Action.

Now we use it on a real campaign.

The question is no longer “How do I make my Suno content more engaging?”

Suno is changing. What does that mean for the way we create?

That gives us change, stakes, uncertainty, something to test, something to prove and something creators can participate in.

Part 3 is where theory stops. JackRighteous.com becomes the experiment.
