Official eligibility
Suno says v6 and v6-wild are available to Pro and Premier subscribers. It says v6-mini is available to everyone.
Eligibility is not a timestamp
Suno’s announcement also says “as v6 rolls out”. That confirms a rollout process but does not publish the exact moment each account, country, tier or interface receives visible access.
Strong secondary coverage confirms the public launch and model family. That corroborates that v6 is real and publicly released; it does not establish a hidden account-order policy.
2. Who Does Not?
At least one paid account still showed v5.5 after launch
Jack Righteous’s own paid Suno account still showed v5.5 as the highest visible model after the September 9 v6 announcement.
Safe conclusion: at least one paid account had not yet received visible v6 access at that point.
Not safe to infer: Canada is delayed, Pro is delayed, Premier is first, rollout is geographic, or every paid account behaves the same way.
Until reproducible evidence shows a broader pattern, JR will not turn individual account states into rollout policy.
3. What Suno Has Not Explained

JR rollout test list

Before Launch: Alpha Reports, Leaks and Early Evidence
This article began as JR’s pre-launch intelligence report. That material is preserved below because it documents what creators were seeing before Suno made v6 public and shows which clues later proved directionally correct.
The V6 name before launch
Before the public September 9 launch, Suno began using v6 and “the v6 family” in direct communications reproduced by multiple independent recipients. Some heavy or “superuser” recipients also reported a 500-credit transition grant. The grant was never treated as universal.
Hawk and Goose client evidence
Public frontend and metadata inspection reported internal identifiers including chirp-hawk and chirp-goose, with code mappings interpreted as V6 and V6 Mini. Before launch, this was strong technical evidence rather than a shipped-feature guarantee. The public launch later confirmed a v6-mini family member, but JR is preserving the distinction between what was in client code and what Suno officially named.
One removed Reddit thread preserved a detailed summary of code reportedly retrieved from a logged-in Suno production session on September 3. It described model enums, create-request mappings, helper predicates and dormant promotional copy. Production code can contain unreleased or gated features, so JR did not treat every discovered control as confirmed.
Alpha-adjacent vocal and prompt reports
A September 1 r/SunoAI poster said a friend had private Alpha access and later claimed to have prompted the model through that account. The report described closer recorded-vocal adherence, reduced vocal “shimmer,” stronger prompt compliance and longer performance continuity. There was no independent proof of the access, and the thread contained substantial skepticism.
Not verified. Those tester claims remain useful as hypotheses for launch-day A/B testing, not as proof that every v6 generation will behave that way.
Listen & Rank speculation
Several users said pre-launch Listen & Rank comparisons contained unusually clean or progressive samples and speculated that Suno was blind-testing v6. Other users disagreed. Suno did not publicly identify those samples as v6.
Not verified. Do not retroactively label those clips as v6 without model metadata or Suno confirmation.
Pre-launch release-date rumors that did not deserve promotion
Community discussions proposed dates including September 11–13 and September 22. Suno launched v6 on September 9. The mismatch is exactly why this page keeps predictions separate from verified information.
