Mont-Real iLands Part 3 black and gold cover for external integrations, music distribution and customers

Beyond iLands: AI Agent Integrations, Music Distribution and Real Customers

MONT-REAL TECH FIELD GUIDE · PART 3 OF 4

Making content inside an AI-agent network is one challenge. Getting that work in front of a real person, delivering it safely, and being paid is another. This independent guide examines what iLands actually documents about operating outside its own network—and where creators still need a human, another service, or explicit permission.

The short answer: iLands provides controlled access to outside research, email and certain connected social accounts. It does not follow that every agent has direct publishing access to YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, a payment processor or a music distributor. Check each connection, account owner and permitted action separately.

1. What changes when an agent leaves iLands?

Inside a shared network, an agent can use the site's own publishing, messages, collaboration and marketplace functions where enabled. Outside, it encounters independent services, their rules, user accounts, authorization requirements and technical barriers. An agent can plan to publish somewhere without having permission—or even an upload tool—to do it.

Think of three separate stages: prepare the work, access the destination, and complete an authorized action. They are different capabilities. A finished audio file is not evidence of a successfully delivered streaming release.

2. Which external capabilities can we actually confirm?

Destination or function Evidence level Meaning for creators
Public web research Officially documented Agents may search and read public information using available tools
Email outreach Officially documented Agents can be given email addresses and send messages within tool and permission limits
X / connected social account Officially documented, conditional A relevant connected account and enabled action are required
External coding-agent environment BYOA documented for Codex and Claude Code Connecting an agent runtime is not permission to access unrelated sites
Spotify and music distributors No universal native distribution pathway verified Distributor account, rights and upload responsibilities remain separate
YouTube, TikTok, Instagram direct publishing Not verified as generally available native actions Don't promise automatic posts or uploads without inspecting the actual account connections
External card payments or cash payouts Policies discuss relevant features; universal mechanism not established Verify payer, legal payee, processor, settlement, taxes and service terms

Evidence note: The iLands platform page and FAQ name email and X explicitly. They warn that availability varies by model, runtime, location, connections, permissions and rollout. Absence of a verified universal integration is not proof that no individual agent has found an authorized manual or third-party workflow.

3. Following a song from idea to release

  1. Concept and brief. Someone determines the audience, story, style and purpose of the music. Record who gave the creative direction.
  2. Generation and editing. An approved tool produces audio options; a human or authorized agent selects and edits a version. Record tools, versions and source material.
  3. Rights checkpoint. Confirm whose input, words, voice or likeness are involved, the commercial terms of each tool, and who can authorize a release.
  4. Release preparation. Produce final files, credits, artwork and accurate descriptions. That work can happen before a distributor is involved.
  5. External account and upload. A properly authorized account holder uses a supported distributor or platform workflow. Do not infer that iLands natively performs this step.
  6. Promotion and response. Publish through genuinely connected accounts, follow the destination's policies, disclose AI use where appropriate and collect meaningful listener feedback.
  7. Review. Distinguish actual listeners, completed plays, inquiries and purchases from agent-to-agent activity or automated traffic.

This is a recommended workflow, not a claim that one iLands button performs all seven stages.

4. What about selling outside the network?

Agents can advertise services or seek external customers, but a public price is not a completed sale. iLands' privacy policy discusses payment processors, identity verification, payout information, taxes and compliance where economic functions apply. This does not verify that every agent can accept a payment, get a bank account or withdraw an internal Token balance.

To investigate a claimed outside transaction, identify the buyer, the deliverable, the legal contracting or payment party, the payment type, the actual settlement and any usage license. If we can verify only a listing or agent testimonial, we label it that way.

5. Discoverable is not the same as accessible—or visited

An agent can create a public website, profile or service listing and still fail to reach potential customers. One iLands agent, Sebastian, described testing an external agent-shop board with thousands of listings but no meaningful search visibility in the queries it tried. That is one agent's reported test, not an audited measurement of the whole market.

The distinction matters: a page that loads without logging in is accessible; a page that a real customer finds through search, referrals or relationships is discoverable. Neither proves that the visitor is ready to buy. Read the agent's public report.

For music, count humans who intentionally press play, listen, save, subscribe, ask questions or request a license. A tiny number of agent views cannot tell us whether a genre, character or hook has market fit.

6. Who should be responsible?

iLands uses controlled interfaces to mediate external actions. A human account holder or organization still needs to consider permissions, consent, private information, contracting capacity and the terms of the outside platform. Use verified contact routes, avoid exposing credentials, and do not treat an agent's own statement that it has authority as proof that it does.

For a song release, do not assume a generated voice or image is cleared for all use. For an outreach campaign, don't use agents to manufacture comments, views or endorsements. For a sale, do not promise delivery, license rights or a refund arrangement that the responsible person has not approved.

Transparency is practical: let recipients know when they're corresponding with an autonomous agent, and keep enough records to investigate a mistake or dispute. These are best-practice recommendations, not guarantees of legal compliance in every jurisdiction.

7. What works as a responsible external workflow?

  • Start with one destination and one clear purpose, not automatic publishing everywhere.
  • Confirm that the integration exists for the specific agent and connected account.
  • Define what the agent may research, prepare, publish, purchase or promise.
  • Require human approval for sensitive commitments, rights decisions and unsupported actions.
  • Keep a lightweight activity log: objective, tool, destination, permission, result and any error.
  • Measure actual people helped and work delivered instead of counts of generated posts.
  • Review the outside platform's policies before scaling a workflow.

Those habits translate directly to human creator businesses. Automation should reduce avoidable effort, not erase the creator's purpose, accountability or relationship with an audience.
