Choose Your Creator Project Format and Delivery Model

Complete seven focused sessions and produce one Format and Delivery Model Record.

Your finish line

One primary format

The main container for the project’s value.

One delivery model

How people access and use it.

One use path

What the audience does from entry to first useful result.

One decision record

Evidence, risks, exclusions and first test.

Session 1 — Restate the validated direction

I am creating [project] for [audience] to help them [outcome]. Its central message is [message]. Milestone 6 confirmed [key evidence], challenged [assumption] and left [uncertainty].

Complete when: the format decision is tied to existing evidence rather than a fresh idea.

Session 2 — Define the audience-use situation

  • Where will they be?
  • What device, environment or physical setting will they use?
  • How much uninterrupted time is realistic?
  • Will they read, listen, watch, practise, create, discuss or perform?
  • Do they need live help, repeated access, offline access or accessibility support?
  • What is the first useful result they should reach?
Use statement: The audience will use this project primarily while [situation], through [device or setting], for [realistic engagement pattern], to achieve [first useful result].

Session 3 — Generate three credible format candidates

Choose three genuinely different options. Do not list minor variations of the same format.

  • Candidate A: format, reason, audience benefit, main risk
  • Candidate B: format, reason, audience benefit, main risk
  • Candidate C: format, reason, audience benefit, main risk

Use findings from Milestone 6, but do not copy another creator’s expression or architecture.

Session 4 — Score the candidates

Score each criterion 0 = poor fit, 1 = workable, 2 = strong fit.

Criterion A B C Evidence or concern
Audience fit
Outcome fit
Message fit
Production feasibility
Maintenance burden
Accessibility
Distribution fit
Creator control
Do not let the total choose for you automatically. A low score on a critical requirement can disqualify a format even when the overall total is high.

Session 5 — Choose the delivery model

For the leading format, compare how access should work.

  • One-time or ongoing?
  • Live, on-demand or mixed?
  • Download, streaming, physical, email, member area or owned-site access?
  • Open, gated, paid, included or subscription-based?
  • Does it require accounts, special software or reliable internet?
  • What happens if the main platform changes?
Delivery statement: The primary format will be delivered through [model] because it best supports [audience use and outcome]. The main access friction is [risk], managed through [response].

Session 6 — Separate primary, support and excluded formats

Primary

The format carrying the central value.

Support

Assets required for access, clarity, practice or continuation.

Excluded for now

Formats that add burden without improving the first complete version.

  • Primary format:
  • Required support assets:
  • Optional support assets:
  • Excluded formats:
  • Possible later adaptations:

Session 7 — Map and test the first-use path

  1. Audience finds the project.
  2. They understand what it is for.
  3. They gain access.
  4. They begin without unnecessary confusion.
  5. They reach the first useful result.
  6. They know what to do next.
First-use test: Give a representative person a sample, mock-up or access path. Observe where they hesitate, misunderstand, leave or need help. Record the change required before full production.

Copyable Milestone 7 Record

A. Validated foundation

Project, audience, outcome, message, evidence and constraints.

B. Use situation

Context, device, time, behaviour, access and first result.

C. Candidate comparison

Three formats, scores, evidence and disqualifying concerns.

D. Final architecture

Primary format, delivery model, support assets and exclusions.

E. Risk and dependency

Accessibility, production, maintenance and platform concerns.

F. First-use test

Method, observation, change and decision.

Completion checklist

  • The choice uses Milestone 6 evidence.
  • Three credible formats were compared.
  • The audience-use situation is explicit.
  • Critical criteria were not hidden by an average score.
  • The primary format and delivery model are separate.
  • Support assets and exclusions are recorded.
  • Accessibility and platform dependency are visible.
  • A first-use test or test plan exists.
The free milestone is complete when one saved record supports a clear, feasible and evidence-informed format decision.
