Make It Better

You have an idea, a brief and an A/B comparison. Now improve with a reason—not just by pressing Generate again and hoping.

Strong creative work gets better because someone notices the nearest problem, makes one thoughtful change and listens again.

Bring your last decision with you

At the end of Lesson 3, you wrote down the next problem you wanted to improve. Start there.

You are not fixing the whole song today

Your goal is to prove that you can move from problem → diagnosis → revision → comparison → decision.

1 · Diagnose the problem

Idea problem

The goal itself is unclear.

Input problem

Your direction was too vague, crowded or contradictory.

Generation / performance problem

Your direction makes sense, but this result did not execute it well.

Creative-decision problem

The result may sound polished, but you decide it is wrong for your project.

2 · Write your diagnosis

WHAT I HEAR: __________

WHY IT MATTERS: This moves away from my brief because __________.

NEAREST PROBLEM TYPE: Idea / Input / Generation-Performance / Creative Decision

MY REVISION TARGET: I want to change __________ while keeping __________ as stable as possible.

3 · Choose one targeted revision

Connect the change directly to the problem you diagnosed. Do not use one weak moment as a reason to redesign everything.

4 · Create or select Version C

Make the targeted change using an age-appropriate tool you are allowed to use. Record what changed on purpose and what changed unexpectedly.

5 · Compare again

Compare Version C with the best version from Lesson 3 using the same brief and success checks.

“No” is still a useful result. A revision that does not work still teaches you something.

6 · Complete your Creator Record

Use the free My AI Music Creator Record to capture your idea, brief, comparison, diagnosis, revision and reflection in one place.

Do not redo your answers. Copy, transfer or summarize what you already wrote in Lessons 1–4.

Level 1 complete: you now have a choice

You can repeat Level 1 on a new idea, or continue with the same project into Level 2 · Build the Song.

Level 2 teaches you to listen to references for decisions, choose a stronger sound lane, give every section a job and shape energy deliberately.

Complete your Creator Record first. Then continue to Lesson 5: Listen Like a Creator →
