Holy Smokes: The Genesis Project | Jack Righteous’ First Album
Holy Smokes Started as an Album. It Became the First Marker of a Bigger Creator System.
In 2025, Holy Smokes: The Genesis Project was the first major idea I was building around Jack Righteous: a full-length AI-assisted music project rooted in reggae, faith, lived experience, personal struggle, and creative recovery.
At the time, the focus was simple: make the music, share the journey, document the process, and invite people to follow along on social media. That was the honest starting point.
Things have changed. The album concept still matters, but the work around it has grown into something larger: a documented creator journey showing how human direction, AI tools, music, writing, visuals, products, and owned-platform building can work together.
This Page Is Now a Record
This page is not being erased because the original concept changed. It is being updated so the beginning remains visible.
- What Holy Smokes began as in 2025
- Why the project expanded in 2026
- How the music connects to writing, books, training, and platform building
- Where to follow the current version of the journey
The Original 2025 Concept
Holy Smokes: The Genesis Project began as my first full-length Jack Righteous album concept. It was built around the belief that AI music had opened a door I once thought was closed.
Reggae Roots and AI Creation
The early sound direction came from my Jamaican foundation, spiritual themes, reggae influence, and the discovery that AI tools could help me shape songs I had carried in pieces for years.
Personal Testimony in Song Form
The project was never only about making tracks. It was about turning struggle, trauma, faith, pressure, growth, and redemption into something that could be heard and felt.
Jack Righteous Beyond Music
Even at the beginning, Jack Righteous was not only an artist name. The idea was already connected to books, art, storytelling, visuals, and a wider creative world.
That original concept was not wrong. It was early. The bigger system had not been fully named yet.
What Changed in 2026
By 2026, the work had expanded beyond one album. The question was no longer only, “Can I make music with AI?” The better question became, “How do I use AI-assisted work responsibly, document the human direction, and build something useful around it?”
Then: Follow the Album
- Follow the social pages.
- Listen to the songs.
- Watch the visuals.
- See the project unfold.
Now: Follow the Build
- Watch the music become part of a larger story world.
- See how AI-assisted work becomes training, writing, visuals, and products.
- Follow the human decision-making behind the tools.
- Learn how the system applies to your own creative work.
The biggest shift is this: Holy Smokes was the start of the sound, but the current work is about the full creator system. That means music still matters, but it now sits beside writing, brand-building, product structure, AI ethics, documentation, audience development, and owned-platform strategy.
Why Holy Smokes Still Matters
Some projects become outdated. This one became evidence. Holy Smokes shows where the Jack Righteous build started before the training system, books, creator paths, and platform structure became clearer.
It Captured the First Fire
The project came from a real creative breakthrough: realizing that AI could help me build music around faith, reggae roots, and lived experience.
It Exposed the Real Problems
Making AI music was not enough. I had to learn release planning, rights awareness, visual branding, platform structure, audience building, and workflow discipline.
It Pointed Toward the System
The album idea became part of the larger Jack Righteous method: create the work, communicate the meaning, and own the platform around it.
The Current 2026 System: Sound, Voice, and Brand
The Jack Righteous platform now helps creators turn scattered AI output into clearer direction, stronger decisions, and practical next steps. The path is no longer only about making songs. It is about learning what the work is for.

Beyond the Music: The Issues That Became the Training
The original page listed important topics I planned to explore while building the album. Those topics are still important, but they now sit inside a more complete creator education system.
Music Industry and Distribution
- Avoiding fake streams, bots, and artificial engagement traps
- Understanding distributor rules and platform expectations
- Separating release access from audience ownership
- Building records before publishing
AI Rights and Responsibility
- Documenting what was AI-assisted and what was human-directed
- Avoiding artist imitation and unsafe references
- Keeping track of prompts, versions, covers, and revisions
- Understanding that platform acceptance is not the same as ownership clarity
Visual Branding and Story
- Using AI visuals with a consistent creative direction
- Building album art, social graphics, and product visuals around the same message
- Connecting music to a larger universe
- Making visuals support the work instead of distracting from it
Creator Monetization
- Turning songs into content, lessons, product examples, and case studies
- Using owned pages instead of only relying on social platforms
- Building free resources before paid offers
- Creating a path people can understand before asking them to buy
Follow the Journey Now
The old version of this page was mostly a social media invitation. That still matters, but the better 2026 invitation is to follow the build through the site, the newsletter, the music, the books, and the training system.

The Journey Did Not Stop at Holy Smokes. It Became the Proof.
Holy Smokes: The Genesis Project began as the album I once thought I could not make. In 2026, it now stands as the beginning of a larger documented build: music, story, books, training, platform development, and the ongoing question of what human direction should look like when AI makes creation more accessible.
