If World Peace Were My Full-Time Job, Here’s the First System I’d Build

World peace has been one of the biggest ideas sitting behind Jack Righteous for years. Not because I believe I have a magic answer for it, but because it creates the hardest question I can give the character—and myself: if peace is really the goal, what would you actually build to help create it?

For a long time, that question lived mostly inside the music, the Four Horsemen, Empire City, WAR COMES, Jack and Lion, and the larger Righteous Kingdom story. Then I met Apostle Koja—and a fictional moonshot suddenly had a real-world problem to push against.

Music is not incidental to the Jack Righteous universe. One thing I am ready to reveal is that sound—and the vibrations carried through it—matters in that world. I am not revealing the full mechanics yet. But the image of Jack reaching into danger and using sound as protection is not random cover art. It belongs to the world I am building.

I am not claiming that music can physically stop a bullet in our world. I am saying something more practical: sound can help us move. A song can steady you before difficult work, remind you why you started, give people a shared emotional language, or simply provide enough motivation to keep going. If the first peace-first action available to you today is putting on music that helps you think clearly, refuse despair and take the next constructive step, I think that is a real beginning—and one almost anyone can make.

Jean has his own road. He is developing his own ideas, organizations and economic vision around peace, dignity, solidarity and participation. My role with him is not to take over that journey. I am there as a creator consultant: help him clarify what he is building, challenge what needs challenging, improve how he communicates it, and let him remain the person leading his work.

But while studying what he was putting together, something else happened. I started seeing places where ideas I have been thinking about and documenting for years might actually have something useful to contribute.

This article is where I put those ideas under pressure.

This article grew out of two roads that need to remain distinct.

One road is real. My ongoing Creator Spotlight work with Apostle Koja has exposed me to an ambitious set of questions about dignity, economic participation, solidarity and whether systems can help build conditions for peace before conflict reaches its worst stage.

The other road is fictional. In the developing Jack Righteous universe, Empire City in 2030 gives me a place to test what a peace-first freedom fighter does when peace becomes difficult, when War is no longer an abstraction, and when Lion argues that force may be the only language danger understands.

I do not want to merge those projects. I want to use the tension between them to make both clearer.

The JR operating language already exists

I do not need a new vocabulary for this project. The operating method I use across JackRighteous.com is already built around Core Squared:

Those questions are usually applied to creator work. But the method becomes more revealing when the stakes are larger.

If I say I care about world peace, Core Squared does not let me stop at the ambition. It forces me to ask what that ambition becomes when somebody has to operate it.

FLAME — Turn “world peace” into a direction somebody can act on

Flame does not ask me to reduce the importance of the mission. It asks me to identify what deserves attention now.

“Bring about world peace” is a destination. It is not a first task.

If JackRighteous.com were taking on a real peace-economy project, the first Flame question would be much smaller:

That immediately changes the work. Instead of designing for millions of hypothetical users, we identify one defined operating environment and ask what the people there actually need.

The first Flame could be:

• help a small local group identify skills and economic opportunities;
• create a trusted communication path between people who share a peace-first mission;
• connect participants to training they can actually use;
• build one transparent solidarity mechanism around a specific local need;
• create one project that requires constructive cooperation across community lines.

The mission remains large. The direction becomes operable.

ROCK — Decide what we refuse to break while pursuing the mission

Rock is where enthusiasm has to survive responsibility.

In the Jack Righteous story, this is already one of the deepest problems. Jack can say he wants peace. The harder question is what happens when the methods that appear most effective begin to violate the reason he wanted peace in the first place.

For the real operating system, Rock becomes the non-negotiable foundation.

This is where my own AI thesis matters. AI can make one person capable of attempting far more. That does not mean capability and authority are the same thing.

A person with an AI assistant may suddenly be able to research, translate, organize, teach, document and communicate at a level that once required several people. That person still does not become a lawyer, mediator, economist, doctor or security authority by typing a better prompt.

CYCLE — Build the smallest complete peace-economy test

Cycle asks the question that large visions often avoid:

What useful loop can we close?

For this project, I would not make the first Cycle a nation, an app launch or a giant membership target.

I would build one Minimum Peace Economy Unit.

Then I would run it.

Not to prove the entire theory. To learn where the theory meets reality.

The point of the Cycle is not to protect the idea. The point is to produce information good enough to improve the next Cycle.

HOUSE — Build continuity before building scale

House asks where useful work belongs once the first test ends.

A peace network cannot depend on one founder's memory, one WhatsApp thread, one chatbot conversation or one charismatic local leader.

The result needs a durable home.

For JackRighteous.com, I would think of House as a layered network rather than one giant centralized platform.

The House is what allows the work to survive the person who first built it.

That matters because a model is not truly reproducible if Jean, Gary or any other founder has to personally carry every important decision forever.

OPERATOR — The freedom fighter becomes a civilian builder

The Operator sits at the center because somebody has to remain responsible.

This is where the fictional and practical roads become especially useful to compare.

In Empire City, Jack Righteous is a peace-first freedom fighter. The obvious version of a freedom fighter is someone who fights an oppressor. The version I am becoming more interested in is broader:

Maybe the first job of a freedom fighter is not defeating an enemy.

Maybe it is helping ordinary people become harder to make powerless.

That is why Jack being an artist matters as much as Jack being a freedom fighter. In his universe, sound is not only soundtrack; vibration can affect what happens. I am deliberately keeping the deeper rules of that world unrevealed for now. But the principle is part of his identity: before sound becomes force, it becomes signal.

In the real-world version of this operating model, I pull that idea back to something anyone can use responsibly. Music can be fuel before difficult work. It can mark a shared purpose. It can help a person regulate emotion, focus, remember, communicate and keep moving. It can also give a community a language for an idea before that idea becomes a policy, a program or a platform.

That is how I would define the civilian Operator in this system.

The Operator is locally rooted. The Operator learns the system. The Operator uses AI aggressively where it increases useful capacity. The Operator does not hand moral responsibility to AI.

AI can help the Operator:

• research and compare information;
• translate across languages;
• create and adapt training;
• map skills, needs and resources;
• draft communications;
• organize projects;
• document what happened;
• maintain records and follow-up;
• spot patterns that deserve human review;
• transfer knowledge to the next Operator.

But the Operator remains the person who decides when to verify, when to stop, when to ask for help, when something exceeds the system's authority, and when a promising idea is producing harm instead of value.

The unit of scale is not the chatbot.

The unit of scale is the human Operator.

Then scale the Operator—not the promise

Once one Minimum Peace Economy Unit works, I would not immediately jump to the world.

I would ask whether somebody else can reproduce it.

If the second Operator cannot run the system without the founder constantly rescuing it, we have learned something important: the model is not yet reproducible.

If several local Houses can operate while preserving evidence, trust, peace-first boundaries and useful economic participation, then we may have the beginning of infrastructure.

That is when larger forecasts start becoming interesting.

Until then, scale is not how many people signed up.

Scale is operating capacity.

What happens when WAR COMES?

This is where the boundary of the real system must remain clearer than the fiction.

In the Jack Righteous story, I can put Jack and Lion directly inside the moral problem of force. That is what fiction is for.

A civilian peace-economy system has a different job.

If active violence, severe coercion or a threat of extermination has already taken over the environment, this system does not turn itself into a military organization. It does not give an AI the authority to identify enemies or select targets. It does not pretend better communication alone can solve every armed conflict.

Its role may change toward:

• maintaining trusted civilian communication;
• supporting verified information;
• connecting people with qualified humanitarian and peacebuilding organizations;
• preserving local knowledge and records;
• communicating civilian needs;
• supporting lawful, nonviolent continuity where possible;
• escalating beyond the Operator when the situation requires legitimate experts and authorities.

That boundary is important to the story too. Jack can wrestle with whether force is ever necessary. The civilian operating system should not quietly become a force-delivery system while still calling itself peacebuilding.

Where Apostle Koja fits—and where he does not

This article is my public design exercise. It is not a publication of Jean's confidential manuscript, a statement that he has approved this model, or an announcement that we have formed a joint venture.

What his work did was sharpen the implementation question.

Jean's road asks what kinds of economic architecture, solidarity, participation and interdependence might help make peace more durable.

My road asks what operating system I would build so ordinary people could participate in testing and reproducing that kind of architecture in an AI environment.

Those ideas can eventually become collaborative. They should first remain clear enough that each person still owns his own work and each project can be evaluated on what it actually contributes.

The path now has two branches

The branches meet here—in the operating question.

If we believe peace matters, what can we responsibly build before the crisis?

So if world peace became my full-time job tomorrow…

I would not begin by trying to save the world.

I would choose one place.

One Operator.

One community.

One useful economic and social loop.

One evidence system.

One set of boundaries AI is not allowed to cross.

And I would see whether people became more capable of building together than they were before.

And before that Operator opens a dashboard, writes a strategy or asks AI for a plan, I would probably start with sound: one piece of music that reminds them what they are building for. That may seem small beside a moonshot like world peace. I do not think small beginnings are trivial.

If music gives you the clarity, courage or motivation to make one peace-first choice today, use it. That is something almost anyone can begin with.

If that worked, I would train the second Operator.

If it failed, I would learn why.

And I would not call it scalable until somebody other than me could make it work.

That is a much smaller answer than “world peace.”

But for the first time, it is an answer I could actually start building.

And that still leaves the hardest Jack Righteous question unanswered.
