Label-Ready Free Resources | Prepare One Song Before Pro Execution

JR Label-Ready · Free Preparation Road

Prepare one serious song for professional execution.

You do not need a paid membership to begin thinking professionally about your music. This free Label-Ready resource road organizes the strongest current public Jack Righteous guides around the work that comes after generation: finishing the song, documenting rights, packaging the release, planning distribution and building the first useful evidence.

This page is a router, not a second curriculum. The Free Creator Academy remains the main learning system. Use this page when your immediate question is: “What should I work through if I want one song to become more professionally ready?”
Current access note: Creator Library access keeps the eligible gated training already attached to that access. During the current Label-Ready campaign, Creator Library holders also have limited-time access to the new Label-Ready Pro execution series. Creator Pro and Complete Access are the ongoing member levels this new Pro layer is being built around. Temporary campaign access does not change the permanent Creator Library entitlement.

Start with the standard

“Label-ready” is more than having a good song.

Use one song

Do not try to prepare your entire catalogue at once.

Choose one serious track and use it to expose the next real blocker. The purpose of the free road is to make better decisions and complete useful preparation—not to imitate a label submission package before the work is ready.

1 · Finish the work

Complete the free answer first. Then choose the depth that matches the blocker.

Before distribution, branding or promotion, identify one exact version, resolve meaningful blockers, document the project and decide whether the asset is truly ready to move forward. This first train now has three explicit levels.

FREE · PRIMARY

Module 4 · Finish the Work

Complete SELECT → RESOLVE → DOCUMENT → VALIDATE → PACKAGE → DECIDE. The free result is a real completion answer: one exact asset, completed project record, package location, readiness outcome and next-use decision.

CREATOR LIBRARY / FOCUSED PAID DEPTH

CP1 · TP4 PACKAGE Your Sound

Use the focused paid layer when the blocker is deeper finalization, export strategy, version/file organization, package assembly or handoff. Creator Library holders should use their existing eligible access when TP4 is included.

PRO · CREATOR PRO / COMPLETE ACCESS

Label-Ready FINALIZE

Use the Pro layer when one serious song is becoming a professional release candidate and must leave this phase with an approved master, deliverables and rights/provenance evidence that carries into the full 90-day system.

Free users are not forced upward. If Module 4 solves the finishing problem, continue free to 2 · Rights & Documentation. The CP1/TP4 and Pro links are deeper layers for creators whose blocker or access level justifies them.
SUPPORT · WHEN NEEDED

Run a Human-Quality Pass

Use this diagnostic when you need to identify whether the problem is the song, performance, production, presentation, provenance or creative fingerprint.

OPTIONAL · SUNO USERS

Export deliberately

If Suno is part of the workflow and the chosen version is ready to leave the platform, preserve the correct version, source history and best available file for the next job.

2 · Rights and documentation

Run one complete rights and compliance gate before you package or distribute the song.

This stage has one canonical execution step. The other resources stay available when one of the eight checks exposes a specific blocker.

PRIMARY · DO THIS FIRST

Run the Rights, Disclosure & Compliance Checklist

Establish the release basis across platform permission, human authorship, source clearance, voice/likeness, covers or derivatives, disclosure, distributor rules and evidence.

Do not advance because a distributor accepted the upload. Complete the eight-check compliance gate first. When the release basis and supporting evidence are clear, continue to 3 · Package the Release.

3 · Package the release

Make the same song understandable everywhere it appears.

Project direction

Capture the song job, audience context, emotional direction, references and protected qualities.

Metadata and profile setup

Use consistent titles, credits, artist information and release details before the information spreads across platforms.

4 · Plan release and distribution

Choose the release route only after the asset is ready.

5 · Build the first evidence

Do not confuse posting activity with proof.

After release, start capturing what people actually did: listened, saved, followed, replied, clicked, joined, returned or ignored. Evidence is useful when it helps the next decision.

Challenge bridge

Preparing for the Label-Ready Track Challenge?

The challenge is a skill-based campaign for eligible creators. You can use this free road to improve the work and understand the professional-readiness questions before submitting. The official challenge page and rules control eligibility, timing, judging and prizes.

When to move into the member execution system

Free preparation helps you understand the work. The member route makes you operate it in sequence.

Use the free road when...

  • You are still closing gaps in the song, rights, release knowledge or basic preparation.
  • You want public articles and tools without a recurring membership.
  • You need to understand which professional-readiness problem comes first.

Use Label-Ready: One Song → 90 Days when...

  • You already have one serious song and lead version.
  • You want one canonical execution sequence across FINALIZE, PACKAGE, DEPLOY and PROVE.
  • You need evidence records, professional gates, Pro Extensions and the project support attached to your eligible member access.
The distinction is not “free information versus hidden information.” The free side teaches and prepares. The member side connects multiple disciplines into one real-song execution system with ordered gates, evidence and ongoing project support.

Keep building slowly

This free road will grow by adding verified resources—not by deleting the library around it.

As existing Jack Righteous articles are audited for accuracy and current usefulness, the best ones can be added into the appropriate step here and linked back to this road. Older material stays available unless it is clearly obsolete, replaced or unsafe to recommend as current guidance.
