A Fast-Track Approach to Album Creation and Launch

As a music creator using AI tools like Suno AI—especially if you're consuming 10,000 credits or more per month—you might wonder how to efficiently produce and release your music to connect with your target audience. Today, we're sharing our journey with "All Ain't Hallow" to illustrate how you can quickly set up your album and start building your reputation in your niche market.

Step 1: Generating the Tracks

Using Suno AI v3.5, we generated five instrumental tracks with the prompt:

"Spooky and intense fierce bassline, hip hop vibes, Halloween sound effects, bass drop, experimental vibes."

These tracks were then remastered using Suno AI v4 to enhance their quality and introduce EDM elements, giving them a fresh and modern sound.

Step 2: Creating the Cover Art

We selected one of the AI-generated images from Suno as the base for our album cover. Using Canva, we applied a professional-looking album template, keeping the design elements minimal to meet distribution standards:

  • Album Title: "All Ain't Hallow"
  • Artist Name: Jack Righteous
  • AI Label Indication: "Suno V4 Remastered"

Tip for Creators: Keeping your cover art simple with essential information helps avoid rejection from distributors and maintains a clean, professional look.

Step 3: Basic Audio Cleanup

We performed a basic audio cleanup using Audacity, a free and user-friendly tool. Alternatively, BandLab is another excellent platform for enhancing sound quality, especially if you have access to additional plugins or packages.

Note: At this initial stage, especially for tracks not yet tested on any platform, it's sufficient to ensure your best song is of the highest quality. As you receive feedback and engagement, you can invest more time in refining other tracks.

Step 4: Setting Up on Suno AI

While it's recommended to attach the appropriate cover art to each track on Suno AI, you can start by creating a public playlist:

This allows fans and other creators to access your music easily within the Suno community.

Step 5: Uploading to YouTube

Experts agree that YouTube should be a primary platform for growing your music content. We downloaded the MP4 videos directly from Suno AI and uploaded them to YouTube. While the video quality may not be top-tier, it's a great way to connect with AI music fans who appreciate the content without bias.

We scheduled the release of the five tracks, starting with an immediate release and the subsequent four tracks published daily at noon:

Tip for Creators: Regularly uploading content keeps your channel active and helps build an audience while you work on higher-quality videos for your most engaging tracks.

Step 6: Leveraging Other Platforms

To gather user insights and reach a broader audience, we utilized two additional platforms:

  • SoundCloud: Listen on SoundCloud

    • We have a NextPro subscription, which provides at least 100 plays per track.
    • While there's a risk of bot traffic, genuine engagement can offer valuable feedback.
  • Bandcamp: Listen on Bandcamp

    • Bandcamp offers excellent analytics, showing how listeners interact with your tracks (skipped, partial, full listens).
    • Although Bandcamp takes a larger cut from sales, it connects you with potential fans who are genuinely interested in your music.

Note: While platforms like SoundCloud can help identify any copyright issues, Bandcamp provides a more business-focused approach with better potential for growth.

Step 7: Managing Expectations and Planning Ahead

It's important to recognize that building a successful music career often takes years, even for artists with substantial advertising budgets and an existing fan base. Our approach with "All Ain't Hallow" focuses on fast-tracking the release to test the waters:

  • Goal: To see if the album resonates with our target audience.
  • Strategy: Use initial engagement to identify standout tracks for further development.
  • Future Plans: Rework and re-release successful tracks, potentially adding lyrics or collaborating with other artists.

Final Thoughts

By sharing our process, we hope to inspire other music creators to take bold steps in releasing their work. The "FAST" approach allows you to:

  • Quickly Produce and Release Content: Don't wait for perfection; get your music out there and refine based on feedback.
  • Utilize Available Tools: Leverage free or affordable platforms and software to enhance your music and reach.
  • Build Your Presence: Consistency across platforms helps grow your audience organically.
  • Gather Valuable Insights: Use analytics to understand your listeners and tailor your future projects accordingly.

Remember, every journey starts with a single step. "All Ain't Hallow" is our step forward, and we're excited to see where it leads.
