Use when the generation wanders, changes character or overcomplicates a direct song.
Warning: the result can become competent but anonymous.
Next move: raise Weirdness by 5–10 points and change nothing else. Do not add Variety yet.
02 · Stronger genre adherence
Use when the stated genre, era or production language keeps drifting.
Warning: rigid or generic genre imitation.
Next move: lower Style Influence by 5–10 points before rewriting the prompt or introducing Variety.
03 · Stable hook with variation
Use when the chorus works but you still want phrasing or production exploration.
Warning: the emotional peak changes too much.
Next move: lower Weirdness first and protect the successful chorus. Test Variety only as a separate pass if prompt-level variation is actually wanted.
04 · More adventurous bridge
Use when the song is coherent but its contrast section feels predictable.
Warning: the bridge can sound like another song.
Next move: first understand the Weirdness result. Then, if you still want a broader prompt-level detour, restore the baseline and test Variety separately rather than stacking both changes.
05 · Uploaded melody should lead
Use when your owned melody, rhythm, demo or vocal direction must remain the main reference.
Warning: timing flaws or noise in the source can become more obvious.
Next move: lower Audio Influence by 10 points or improve the source. Keep Variety at 0 while you diagnose source anchoring.
06 · Upload as loose inspiration
Use when the source is a seed or texture rather than a performance to preserve.
Warning: the source can disappear or the result can become unrelated.
Next move: raise Audio Influence by 10 points and leave the others fixed. Once source-vs-style balance is understood, Variety can become a separate creative test.

- Choose one recipe and one exact model lane.
- Keep lyrics, Styles text, source audio and all non-target controls unchanged. Start Variety at 0 when you need the style tags fixed.
- Generate a baseline pair and save both results.
- Move only the control connected to the failure, then generate a comparison pair.
- Compare the same 15–30 seconds across baseline and candidate results.
- Score hook stability, genre adherence, vocal consistency, source resemblance, transitions and artifacts.
- Make a clear KEEP / RESTORE / RETEST / ROUTE decision.

No. They are Jack Righteous testing recommendations designed as controlled starting points.
Are these exact numbers guaranteed for v6?
No. Suno has not published official goal-based numerical recipe ranges. Use these JR baselines as starting hypotheses and validate them in your exact model lane and song.
Why does every controlled recipe start Variety at 0?
Because Suno says Variety can adjust and update the style prompt, while 0 retains full control of the style tags. That makes 0 useful when you are trying to isolate what another control changed.
Is Variety just another Weirdness slider?
No. Treat them as separate variables. Weirdness changes exploration; Variety can vary the style-prompt input itself.
Should I test v6, v6-wild and v6-mini at the same time as the recipe?
No. Keep one model fixed during the recipe test. If model choice is still unresolved afterward, hold the winning recipe fixed and run a separate model comparison.
Which slider should I change first?
Change the control most directly connected to the audible failure while holding the others constant.
Can Audio Influence preserve an exact vocal or melody?
No. It can strengthen source guidance, but exact reproduction is not guaranteed.
