Run Your First 90-Day Owned-Domain Review

The final milestone replaces activity reporting with evidence-backed operating decisions about what the website should continue, improve, simplify, expand, pause or stop.

1. Fix the review window and evidence

Record the exact 90-day dates, major changes, outages, campaigns and tracking gaps. Use comparable evidence where possible. Do not treat a partial analytics period as a complete quarter.

2. Review domain and technical health

Confirm domain renewal, HTTPS, redirects, broken links, forms, mobile behaviour, backup status, account authority, incidents and maintenance completion. A site that generates traffic but cannot reliably serve visitors remains operationally weak.

3. Review audience and newsletter health

Compare signup sources, completed signups, conversion rate, delivery failures, unsubscribes, welcome engagement and useful next-step movement. Subscriber growth is valuable only when the relationship remains permission-based and useful.

4. Review content and discovery

Assess impressions, clicks, landing pages, internal-link movement, newsletter signups by content, downloads, assisted offer visits, update needs, duplicate pages and content with no useful next step.

5. Review conversion and offers

Area Evidence
Conversion path Visits, CTA clicks, starts, completions, conversion rate, failures and diagnosed friction.
Offer Offer-page visits, completions, revenue in CAD, delivery success, refunds or cancellations, support and fulfilment time.
Quality Tracking gaps, attribution limits, technical defects, customer or subscriber friction and unresolved risks.

6. Review cost and creator capacity

Record domain, platform, app, production, email, transaction and support costs in CAD. Compare the workload required for content, newsletter, maintenance, support and fulfilment with the creator’s available capacity.

7. Apply Core Squared

Flame: does the site still serve the intended creator purpose? Rock: is its central promise clear? Cycle: can publishing, communication and delivery repeat? House: are domain, files, metrics, policies and systems controlled? Operator: are decisions and ownership clear?

8. Make decisions, not observations

Every major finding should lead to Continue, Improve, Simplify, Expand, Pause, Stop or Escalate for verification. Assign an owner, evidence, deadline and expected signal.

9. Build the next 90-day plan

Select a small number of priorities tied to the strongest constraint. Protect maintenance and trust work. Avoid responding to every metric movement with a new project.

Path completion standard

The creator has a documented 90-day operating review, trustworthy metric definitions, known limitations, clear decisions, an approved next-stage plan and accountable owners. The website is now an operating creator asset—not simply a published domain.
