VANYRA X Creator Spotlight — black electric guitar in a gothic alternative rock setting and Deep Within notebook; four SIQA 2026 nominations, no fictional artist portrait

VANYRA X: KHB Music & 4 AI Music Awards Nominations

Jack Righteous Creator Spotlight · Independent First Look · October 23, 2026

VANYRA X is building a fictional music universe rather than pretending a digital performer is a conventional band member. The project's own website calls it a collaboration between human imagination and AI, and it identifies a human producer. Four SIQA nominations recognize both its rock/pop sound and its visual storytelling.

Event timing: The 2026 AIMA program includes the November 12 summit and premiere honors, followed by the main awards ceremony at The Mayan on November 13. Official two-day program.

Four SIQA nominations: Best AI Music Video — “Deep Within”; Best AI Rock/Alt Song — “Break the Pattern”; Best AI Pop Artist; and Best AI Rock/Alt Artist. No award winners have yet been announced. Official list.

What is the VANYRA X creative universe?

The official project story follows a recurring idea called a “signal,” carried through tracks such as “Frequency Rising,” “Echo Of You,” “Pulse” and “Deep Within.” These titles are intentionally connected by characters and visual motifs. The character Lyan appears at the center of the “Deep Within” sequence; Lyan is a character in the project, not a human whose real-life biography should be invented.

This distinguishes VANYRA X from a single faceless AI song. Its creators are developing a linked audiovisual narrative, where recurring signals and identities make the catalog feel like chapters of a story.

The real human producer and music label

The official VANYRA X imprint names Noa Tysven as producer for VANYRA HAVN Music by KHB Music, while identifying Sven Hessel as the contact responsible for the legal site imprint. These are clearly different functions. Neither credit means that all five fictional characters are real musicians, that Sven Hessel performs the tracks or that Noa Tysven wrote and sang every line.

The same official page describes AI-assisted creative technology for music, visuals and writing, while saying final creative and publication decisions remain with humans. These statements should be attributed to the company. They offer evidence of human editorial oversight but are not an independent recording-session log or a guaranteed percentage split between human and machine authorship.

The documented release chain

The January 1, 2026 KHB-linked release announcement presents “Frequency Rising” as the starting point for the band's fictional narrative and names VANYRA HAVN Music as its label. The May 22 “Deep Within” release documents the nominated music-video project, and the August “Empty Rooms” statement continues the connected story with another label-linked release and music smart link. These dated materials establish a creative and commercial release history.

The label/promoter relationship is observable; the private contract, ownership of each master, advance and split of rights among human producers and visual creators is not. A DistroKid smart link cannot establish a signed artist deal. That matters because a first-look profile should distinguish production and distribution infrastructure from an alleged major-label signing.

Official social accounts — and an important namesake warning

The KHB-linked music announcements repeatedly give the same four VANYRA X handles: Instagram @vanyrax.official, TikTok @vanyrax.official, official Facebook and YouTube @vanyrax.official. The VANYRA X music link hub is listed on a label release page.

A separate DJ named Vanyra is documented in Resident Advisor as an Argentine-born house/garage artist based in Spain. That is not proof of any affiliation with VANYRA X. His unrelated Linktree and real-person profile must not be reused as information about this fictional collective. Matching names without checking origin is one of the easiest ways to compromise an otherwise accurate AI-artist feature.

“Deep Within” — visual storytelling as a nominated art form

The official music video presents “Deep Within” as a cinematic emotional ballad using piano, orchestral elements and a developing character narrative. It was uploaded to the VANYRA X artist channel on May 21, 2026. This is the video nominated for Best AI Music Video and is presented as a visual chapter, not documentary footage of a real singer.

Watch the artist's original “Deep Within” video. The visual is embedded as the artist's published presentation and does not imply editorial approval by the project's human producers.

“Break the Pattern” and the two genre categories

“Break the Pattern” is the Best AI Rock/Alt Song nominee, while VANYRA X also appears in both Pop Artist and Rock/Alt Artist. That combination reflects the project's crossover positioning and is worth assessing through complete releases rather than assigning it to a single fixed genre.

The studio sound and visual world work together, but music quality and video storytelling are different crafts. An effective review examines hook, clarity, arrangement and pacing as well as consistency between sound and imagery.

The release chronology behind the nominations

VANYRA X did not appear from nowhere when the nominations were announced. The label’s “Deep Within” page connects that track to earlier “Frequency Rising,” “Echo Of You” and “Pulse” releases. KHB’s own dated release index then documents “One Frequency (We Are)” in June, “Perfect” in July, “Empty Rooms” and “Break the Pattern” in August, and “Faceless in the Shadow” in September. These are release milestones, not an assertion that every song was submitted for SIQA awards.

This sequence matters because the Rock/Alt Song category recognizes “Break the Pattern,” whereas the video category recognizes “Deep Within.” The nominated works are distinct. Looking across several months of releases lets readers assess whether the project’s recurring sonic ideas, visual characters and release credits remain coherent, without elevating a single video into a complete band biography.

Why producer, label and legal-imprint credits need to remain separate

The project’s own imprint assigns the producer role to Noa Tysven and identifies Sven Hessel for legal contact. KHB Music’s published music-release pages identify a label/promotional pathway. They do not identify the author of every lyric, voice recording or animated frame. The website’s own AI policy says humans retain final creative decisions while AI tools may help create music and visual material. All of these can be true without assuming that every named person played a musical instrument on the track.

For a fully creator-led profile, the correct follow-up is a track-specific credit sheet: original songwriters, composition and arrangement roles, vocal-source permission, any synthesized voices, video editing and art contributors, rights to the project’s characters, and the imprint responsible for the master. The published sources currently establish real accountability for the brand, but they cannot fill in those missing song-by-song details.

Music-first listening versus synthetic visuals

“Deep Within” is best evaluated on two levels: its songwriting and arrangement as a recording, and the video’s emotional pacing and consistency as a visual narrative. The fictional character Lyan is part of the story. The award nomination does not establish that a real vocalist matching the character was filmed, nor does a public video automatically authorize republishing its still frames as original editorial photography. The existing embedded official video is an accurate way to show the work while preserving that distinction.

Why this is a useful artist-development model

Recurring visual symbols and coherent narrative can make a virtual project easier to recognize across releases. Human direction shows up through the decisions about what themes return, where a character changes, what music illustrates the story and how a listener moves from one song to another.

There is a limit, though: a rich science-fiction story does not substitute for real production credits or permissions. The fictional world and the actual people operating it should always be clearly separated.

What to confirm before the creator-led Spotlight

Ask producer Noa Tysven which people authored the lyrics, approved the voices, composed or directed the music, and edited the “Deep Within” video. Confirm the best official “Break the Pattern” performance link and authorized stills or album art.
