Publish and Verify Every Edition
Upload the approved package, review the real publishing output and prove that each intended edition is live, accurate and obtainable by its reader.
Uploading is not publishing
A submission can be rejected, altered by conversion, linked to the wrong metadata, unavailable in a territory or technically live while still delivering a poor reader experience. Milestone 17 ends only when the real edition has been checked outside the publishing dashboard.

Use severity and stop rules
Critical defects include the wrong manuscript, broken access, materially incorrect price, missing core pages, unreadable output, serious rights concern or a listing that misrepresents the edition. Do not promote an edition while a critical defect remains open.
Record platform changes honestly
Publication platforms can change file conversion, availability, metadata display and review status. Record what was actually verified, when it was checked and what remains outside the author’s control.
Responsible AI use
AI may compare supplied screenshots, manifests and listing text or organize a defect log. It must not claim a live purchase was tested, a proof was reviewed, a territory is available or a platform accepted a file unless evidence is supplied.
