Do not create fifty locations with no song, visual or audience function. Every major world element should connect to at least one existing track and one possible future use. Mark unused ideas as reserve material rather than canon.

Protect continuity

Separate canon, provisional ideas and retired directions. When a new song changes the world, record whether it adds detail, reveals an unreliable perspective or requires a formal revision. Do not silently overwrite released meaning.
