Suno gives you three download types depending on your needs:

  • MP3 – Compressed audio. Quick to share. Great for social drops or test listens.
  • WAV – High-resolution audio. Ideal for remixing, post-production, or mastering. (Requires Pro or Premier plan.)
  • Video (MP4) – Includes your audio with a generated visual (cover art, waveform, sometimes lyrics). Perfect for reels, YouTube Shorts, or lyric video drafts.

You can now regenerate the video attached to any track. This lets you:

  • Update the cover art
  • Improve lyric timing
  • Match the visual with newer edits or versions

Want to highlight just the best 15–30 seconds? Suno now lets you:

  • Crop – Cut down your song to a selected segment

File Naming Tips:

Use a clear format like: Title_PathVersion_Date
Example: Sanctuary_Path2_2024-05-17.mp4

Version Tracking:

Log what changes were made (e.g. Replace v1 → Cover v2 → Final Remaster)

Export Strategy:

  • MP3 = test and share
  • WAV = submit or archive
  • MP4 = publish visuals or promote
