Proph3ci: Lara Kent, Suno & 5 AI Music Awards Nominations

Jack Righteous · Creator Spotlight · Detailed artist research · October 23, 2026

Proph3ci is a gospel and Christian R&B artist project built from a real writer's experiences. Lara Kent, the human songwriter behind it, has explained how writing helps her process difficult periods and how Suno makes it possible to turn those words into recordings. Her project now has five nominations at the 2026 SIQA AI Music Awards—but its public music credits and distribution history also tell a story beyond the awards.

Event timing: The 2026 AIMA program includes the November 12 summit and premiere honors, followed by the main awards ceremony at The Mayan on November 13. Official two-day program.

Verified distinction: Lara Kent is a publicly interviewed human creator. Proph3ci is the recorded artist identity. Five SIQA nominations, including songs and a collaboration with Solomon Ray, are not five award wins. The November 13 ceremony have not happened as of this update.

The human creator: who is Lara Kent?

Kent gave a published interview to SHEEN Magazine on June 9, 2026, identifying herself as Proph3ci's creator. She explained that she had written songs years earlier for a cousin who worked in music production, before spending more time focused on family. She returned to writing in 2025 during a difficult period, describing songwriting as an outlet and a way to share encouraging messages.

Those details matter because they are Kent's own published account, not a reconstructed backstory created from an AI singer's appearance. In that interview, she emphasizes experiences, personal writing, faith and the decision to share music that might help listeners. This is not a new interview conducted by Jack Righteous, and this profile does not imply her direct editorial approval.

What role does Suno play?

Kent said she began writing and creating music in Suno, then developed the Proph3ci identity as a way of presenting the songs. She describes ideas, emotions and life lessons as the starting point, while AI helps her translate the writing into finished recordings. That supports saying Proph3ci is human-directed; it does not establish that Kent personally sang all the vocals or that the exact generation workflow was identical on every recording.

Her public credits provide a second form of evidence. The distributed “Dear God, I Pray” recording names Lara R. Kent for both songwriting and production. The earlier “This Is My Year” listing likewise credits Lara R. Kent as songwriter and producer. Credited production is a real acknowledgement, but distributor metadata alone does not demonstrate which DAW, editing steps, generated stems or human performances were used.

The following upload is an officially distributed audio recording on the Proph3ci – Topic YouTube channel, supplied through DistroKid. It is not a film of Lara Kent performing live and should not be used as evidence of the singer's physical identity.

Open “God Kept His Word” on YouTube. As of the September 22, 2026 SIQA chart, the song also appeared at No. 18 on the organization's Top 20 AI Gospel Songs. This is an SIQA chart, not a Billboard Hot Gospel Songs position. See the dated SIQA chart.

What are the five nominations, specifically?

  • Best AI-Assisted Song: “God Kept His Word,” focused on the declared creative role of AI and people in the song.
  • Best AI Gospel Song: “God Kept His Word,” a genre-song nomination.
  • Best Human+AI Hybrid Song: “I Give Myself To You,” a specific SIQA classification tied to an artist's own cloned voice.
  • Best AI Gospel Artist: Proph3ci as the gospel project.
  • Best AI Collab: “My Prayers Been Answered,” alongside Solomon Ray.

The five slots mean three different songs and the artist identity are being recognized. They are not interchangeable. The category-by-category nomination record traces more than 2,000 submissions and a finalist process run by the organizer. Eligible verified artists submitted between August 31 and September 25, 2026, and verified peers voted for finalists. The ceremony will decide the winners.

The special issue with “I Give Myself To You”

The September 11 Apple Music single is nominated for Human+AI Hybrid Song. SIQA uses that label for cases involving an artist's own voice cloned or synthesized in a recording. Although the nominated category indicates this declared process, we do not have a first-person account of the exact vocal training or recording steps for this particular song. It would be an overstatement to say Kent directly sang the finished vocal or to assert technical details without documentation.

This is a crucial lesson for AI-assisted music journalism. Having an identified human songwriter is not the same as identifying the source of a particular vocal. Both can matter, but they should be disclosed separately.

What about the collaboration with Solomon Ray?

Solomon Ray is a synthetic gospel vocal project created by human writer and rapper Christopher “Topher” Townsend. “My Prayers Been Answered” was released May 15, 2026 as a joint single and earned a Best AI Collab nomination. That confirms the official artist pairing, not a human duet in a conventional studio.

We can identify Kent and Townsend as the people publicly behind the separate projects, but the individual writing, vocal generation, arrangement and production splits of this specific track need additional creator confirmation. The relevant Apple Music release is the reliable listening destination. Also see the existing Solomon Ray research profile.

God Promise, Dai+Drm and Create Music Group: what is documented?

The music has not been issued under a single unchanging label line. Earlier tracks and My Sweetest Redemption use the God Promise imprint in public release metadata. For example “This Is My Year” is credited under God Promise. Later records such as “I Give Myself To You” list ℗ 2026 Dai+Drm / Create Music Group Inc. The collaborative “My Prayers Been Answered” also carries a Dai+Drm/associated rights line.

These credits establish that several businesses appear in distribution and phonogram metadata across time. They do not prove that Proph3ci received an advance, sold a master, transferred its AI character, or signed a record agreement with specific terms. I could not confirm any publicly disclosed Proph3ci contract value, duration, exclusivity or ownership split. Those facts should be left open.

Audience, community and social media

The most reliable currently verified public destinations for Proph3ci are her officially distributed catalog, Proph3ci – Topic recording, the creator's published SHEEN interview, and the SIQA nominee profile. These links give readers concrete ways to hear the work and learn about the human creator.

I have not independently verified a canonical Proph3ci Instagram, TikTok or Facebook handle, so this article deliberately avoids inventing one or linking a similarly named account. A correct official social destination should be added only when corroborated by Kent or by a recognized artist-operated hub. Unverified follower or streaming figures are omitted.

Kent is also named as an event ambassador in the October 17–18 Atlanta AI Music & Video Creator Weekend announcement. That is evidence of public AI-music-community participation, but it is a promotional organizer release, not proof of paid sponsorship or contractual involvement.

What this trajectory shows about independent AI gospel music

Proph3ci's pathway goes beyond pressing a generate button. There is a named writer with a public creative purpose, repeated themes across releases, platform distribution, a named peer collaboration, and award visibility in both genre and process-defined categories. For aspiring creators, that is a more meaningful model than treating AI output alone as proof of artistry.

It also illustrates the business and rights questions that become more important as recognition increases. A person who writes and directs an AI artist should be able to explain the distinction among their original lyrics, generated vocals, production decisions, contributing partners and permissions. Clear records help protect the creative story without exaggerating legal ownership or commercial results.

Remaining editorial checks before a creator-led Spotlight

Direct creator review should establish the preferred official social handles, the source and permitted use of a visual artist image, the specific self-voice process for “I Give Myself To You,” full credit splits on “My Prayers Been Answered,” the role of God Promise and Dai+Drm, and whether Kent prefers another official video to represent “God Kept His Word.”

No permission, contract inspection or new interview has been completed. The present article is independent research based on attributed published sources.
