Why the name matters

Nearly three decades after their paths first crossed, Bryan and his wife reunited and brought their families together. That experience inspired the name Blended Bunch. His songs draw on everyday memories and emotional moments. He hopes listeners will recognize a summer night, someone they miss, or a second chance in a song.

A musical world with more than one sound

Bryan's first album This Life introduced the project. Them Boys expands it, moving from friendship, trucks and bonfires to deeper themes of loss, faith and redemption. Songs such as “Devil’s Replacement” and “When the Light Returns” explore temptation and redemption. His goal is a recognizable storytelling identity, even when genres change.

Human words, AI-assisted recordings

Bryan writes the lyrics and directs the arrangements. He uses Suno's advanced song controls, with sections and specific instrument directions, to generate recorded performances. For one song, “Still Twenty Five,” inspiration came from an eventful day at a pool with family. Bryan uses a paid Suno Pro plan and writes detailed directions for each section, including instrumentation such as banjo, steel guitar and fiddle. He says experimenting with AI-written lyrics did not deliver the emotional connection he wanted. The story and artistic decisions remain central.

Where Bryan is heading

With future projects That Line and Those People in development, Bryan hopes listeners return for the next story. While he hopes for broader reach through playlists, radio and other performers, he puts emotional connection ahead of stream counts. His approach offers a lesson for other creators: a consistent storytelling voice can connect work across several musical genres.
