Turn your project idea into one usable creative brief.
This kit is the required second step in the Suno seven-stage workflow. It turns the four-sentence project-start statement from Stage 1 into criteria you can use to generate, compare and revise deliberately.
Prerequisite
Complete Stage 1: Getting Started with Suno AI and bring your four-sentence project-start statement.
Your required deliverable
Complete one one-song creative brief covering:
- purpose and intended use;
- listener and emotional target;
- genre family and movement;
- voice, instrumentation and arrangement direction;
- song structure and lyric requirements;
- required elements and elements to avoid;
- authorized source material and reference notes;
- initial documentation requirements.
How to complete Stage 2
- Define the project before opening a new generation session.
- Separate fixed requirements from preferences.
- Choose only the references and source material you are permitted to use.
- Write observable criteria for judging the first versions.
- Record the tool, model, plan and project date.
Do not continue yet when the brief only says that the song should sound “good,” “professional” or “like” a named artist. Replace vague judgments with observable musical requirements.

I have only just started from the beginning but so far I am finding it pretty impressive. As a random creator I am being introduced to the idea of getting clear direction & structure and choosing a path. All things I need to do but I didn't know I needed to do. I find the Starter Kit loaded with valuable ideas and lots to take in.
