Creator Spotlight First Look: Skynetproduktions — Two AI Music Projects, Two Distinct Identities

Two Bands. One Imagination. Meet the Music of Skynetproduktions.

Jannick Jeppesen writes the songs and steers the creative vision. AI production helps him bring them to life. The result is not one musical identity but two: Bloodgrass, built around darker rock, and Manson Geaves, rooted in blues and Americana.

Which one speaks to you? Start with the music—and stay for the story behind it.

The person behind the music

A lifetime of listening. A new way of making.

Before there were two band names, there was a musician with more ideas than he could always perform. Jannick says he still owns more than 2,000 vinyl records, alongside CDs. He has spent years with a guitar and a broad appetite for different sounds.

Writing and imagining music was one thing. Delivering every vocal and instrumental part himself was another. AI production offered a different route from the idea to the recording—one that still required him to decide what belonged in the song.

Jannick, the human creator behind Skynetproduktions, writes lyrics and arrangements, develops the ideas and directs the final choices. He uses Suno to generate vocal and instrumental performances, tests variations and rejects versions that do not fit. Rather than blending all those musical directions under one name, he built two distinct projects.

The first listen · Bloodgrass

For the darker corners of rock

Bloodgrass is where Jannick puts his darker, poetic rock and heavier ideas. It's a different invitation from a conventional artist biography: press play and see whether that atmosphere draws you in.

Listening question

What stayed with you—the title and story, the mood, or the sound? If you already follow Bloodgrass, which track would you recommend next?

Another side · Manson Geaves

Turn toward the blues

Now change the atmosphere. Manson Geaves is Jannick's outlet for raw blues and Americana. The contrast is the point: he doesn't want every song to make the same promise to its listener.

Listening question

Did this style grab you faster? If you heard both tracks, which would you revisit—and why?

Inside the creative process

Human direction, AI performance—and a reason for two names

The technology is part of the story, but it isn't the whole story. Jannick says he develops the writing, arrangements and creative choices while Suno generates performances. Systematic prompting and repeated selection help him pursue a consistent direction for each project.

He has also experimented with CapCut and Leonardo for video work. We are not assigning either tool to a specific video here; the creator's earlier brief did not establish that attribution reliably.

For a fellow creator, there is a useful question beneath the software: when your work moves between genres, does everything belong under one artist identity? Jannick's answer, at least for now, is no. Bloodgrass can grow around darker rock, while Manson Geaves can explore blues and Americana without asking the same audience to expect the same thing every time.

That's an artistic and positioning decision—not proof of audience growth or a one-size-fits-all strategy.

Beyond the recording

The harder part? Getting heard.

Jannick distributes through DistroKid. But he identifies promotion as his biggest challenge: a song cannot connect with listeners who never encounter it. He has ideas for five bands, although he is concentrating on Bloodgrass and Manson Geaves as these two projects develop.

That is why this First Look is also an invitation to fans. A new listener might meet one of these projects here. Someone who already follows them might have a favourite song, a recommendation or a memory to share. Neither response requires knowing anything about AI production.

Your turn · Fans and new listeners

What do you hear?

Have you followed Bloodgrass or Manson Geaves for a while—or did you just discover them here? I'd love to hear from both longtime listeners and people pressing play for the first time.

  • Already a fan? Which song should someone new to the band hear next?
  • Just listened? Which of these two videos caught your attention, and what made it memorable?
  • Know their wider catalogue? What's your favourite track, lyric, atmosphere or musical direction?
  • Love music in these genres? What drew you to darker rock, blues or Americana in the first place?

Leave your thoughts in the comments beneath this article. You can champion your favourite without putting down the other project. A specific song recommendation or first-listen reaction is especially welcome.

The conversation is about the music and the people connecting through it. Respectful disagreement is welcome; invented praise and promotional spam aren't.

For curious creators

The lesson behind the two identities

Start with the listener experience. What does this artist name promise? Which songs belong together? What choices help a sound remain recognizable? Jannick's approach offers one real-world example of separating creative directions, without claiming that he followed JR training or that the projects have reached a particular audience milestone.
