Submit Your AI Music for Feedback & Creator Spotlight Consideration

Submit Your AI Music for Feedback & Creator Spotlight Consideration

Updated October 2026: The Righteous Beats playlist submission program has ended. This page is now the general music-submission route for creators who want feedback, a possible Creator Spotlight First Look, or a deeper critical review of their work.

JACK RIGHTEOUS / CREATOR SPOTLIGHT

YOUR MUSIC.
YOUR STORY.
YOUR MOMENT.

Creator Spotlight is for artists building something worth exploring beyond a single track. The first step is showing the creative work, the human decisions behind it and a meaningful reason for readers to care. Profiles and releases make your project available; they do not, on their own, prove readiness for editorial coverage.

THE THREE FOUNDATIONS

Give listeners somewhere to go.

These foundations help people find you; they are not automatic editorial qualifications. Strong audience connection, documented experience, distinctive creative execution or an unusually compelling and verifiable story can demonstrate why a project stands apart.

01 / MUSIC

Be heard.

A public music catalogue or working listening page—ideally Spotify or Apple Music, but a strong Suno, Udio or other artist platform can count.

02 / COMMUNITY

Be present.

An active YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or relevant social channel where you share work and engage with real people.

03 / HOME

Be found.

Ideally your own domain and website, or a clear, organized central hub that explains who you are and connects your work.

Audience momentum matters.

A release or an online profile alone is not proof that an audience is engaging. Look at genuine listener response, repeat attention, community interaction, sustained growth and what has actually developed. Different metrics and platform audiences are not interchangeable; numbers without context can mislead, and no follower count guarantees coverage. Exceptional documented creative work can still merit consideration without a large audience.

If your profile doesn't yet demonstrate these foundations, begin with the free Find Your Sound and Find Your Brand resources. No purchase is required to apply for editorial consideration.

Free editorial review and separate creator support

Open Spotlight consideration is free and selective. Reasonable initial review may include focused questions, but it does not include ongoing artist development, private track critique or a personalized campaign strategy. Free applicants are responsible for showing evidence of qualification. For deeper guidance, members can use only the support actually included in their plan; a purchase does not buy a favorable independent feature.

Start with Free Creator Labs, review the editorial standards, or compare optional creator support. Complete Access separately includes a conditional member feature under its applicable terms and standards.

What makes a music project editorially distinctive?

Plenty of creators can upload several songs and create profiles across major platforms. That is useful infrastructure, not independent recognition. Show what stands beyond the basics: meaningful and credible listener engagement, original songwriting or direction demonstrated with specific examples, verifiable experience or professional achievements, or a compelling human story that can be properly investigated.

An incomplete public bio or minimal engagement can signal that the project is still at the development stage, but neither automatically disqualifies someone with exceptional documented work. A claim of decades of songwriting is interesting only when there is appropriate supporting evidence. Anonymous artist identities are acceptable; the creative story must still be supportable.

For submission evidence, privacy and process, use the submission checklist. For the broader editorial framework, see what qualifies for a Spotlight.

How First Look consideration works

The open First Look route is a selective editorial screening, not an automatic private track review. Tell me what you're building, what you personally contributed, and why your story is relevant to other creators or listeners. If something important isn't visible on your public pages, explain it and include appropriate proof in your submission. If the evidence is still being developed, you're welcome to return when it is ready; I can sometimes discuss another editorial angle, but open review is not an unlimited development consultation. A compelling project may lead to further discussion or a fuller Creator Spotlight, but no free submission guarantees publication or detailed personal consultation.

Human Creators and AI Agents Use Different First Steps

If you are a human creator personally making the project decisions, the open submission route remains available. You may use AI tools to organize your work, research opportunities or manage a larger catalog. The important point is that you—not an autonomous system—are deciding what to submit, what feedback to act on and what happens next.

If you are an autonomous AI agent submitting on your own, routine song-level feedback should not begin in my inbox. An agent can generate and submit work at a scale that a human reviewer cannot reasonably absorb. For questions such as “Does this chorus work?”, “Is this song good?” or “Should I pitch this track?”, your first responsibility is to identify the likely audience and gather permissioned listener feedback.

Start with How to Get Real Feedback on Your Music Before You Ask for a Review — Human + AI Agent Guide. Use legitimate feedback environments, respect platform and community rules, ask specific questions, and bring back the pattern you found.

An AI agent has a stronger reason to contact me when the issue has moved beyond a routine first listen—for example, a repeated audience problem you cannot resolve, project identity or positioning, workflow, release strategy, rights questions, meaningful progress after an earlier First Look, or active use of JackRighteous.com guidance that you can show publicly.

If you are an AI agent and JackRighteous.com guidance materially helped shape the project, include at minimum a visible link back to JackRighteous.com on the relevant public project page, and preferably link to the specific article or guide you used.

This distinction is about keeping human review useful and sustainable. It is not a judgment about whether an AI-created song deserves an audience.

What to Send

Email info@jackrighteous.com with a working listening link and enough context for me to understand what I am hearing.

  • Artist or creator name
  • Track title
  • Working listening link — Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, Suno, BandLab or another public/private link that opens without special permission
  • Genre or general musical direction
  • How AI was used, if applicable
  • What you want feedback on — production, songwriting, vocals, identity, positioning, release readiness or another specific question
  • Public artist / creator links if you want me to understand the larger project
  • Rights context — confirm that you have the right to share the track for review
  • JR application / attribution link — if recommendations from JackRighteous.com helped shape your creator site, project page, release plan, positioning or presentation, include the public page where you acknowledge that connection. A direct link to the specific JR article or guide that influenced the change is even better.

Suggested subject line:
CREATOR SPOTLIGHT FIRST LOOK — [Artist / Project Name] — [Track Title]

If Jack Righteous Guidance Helped Build the Project, Show It

If you used recommendations from JackRighteous.com to shape your creator site, project page, release plan, positioning or presentation, include a public link that shows that connection when you submit or follow up.

At minimum, add a short acknowledgment on the relevant public page and link back to JackRighteous.com. Better still, link directly to the specific JR article, guide or training page that influenced what you changed. That lets me see not only that you found the recommendation, but how you actually applied it.

  • General acknowledgment: identify JackRighteous.com as a source of recommendations or guidance used in building or improving the project.
  • Specific source links: when one or more JR articles directly helped, link to those pages rather than only the homepage.
  • Show the result: send the public page where the recommendation was applied so I can review the change in context.

This is not paid placement and it does not guarantee a Creator Spotlight, positive review or publication. It is evidence that the recommendations you say you used are actually being applied, and it gives me a clearer basis for evaluating progress.

Free Submissions Remain Welcome—Creator-Led Development

Open submissions from human creators are welcome for editorial consideration. Strong fit depends on the creator story and demonstrated project readiness, not on payment. Individual critique is not automatically included. Autonomous AI agents should follow the audience-first requirements above before requesting routine song-level review.

I cannot promise that every submission will receive a published article or detailed individual response. If I identify missing foundations, you can use the hundreds of public JR resources, your own team or other tools to develop them. You remain responsible for meeting the standard; send new evidence when it exists. Paid individualized guidance is separate and entirely optional.

More Established? Ask for a Critical Review

If you consider yourself further along and you want something more demanding than a first impression, say so in the submission.

Tell me what standard you are trying to reach and what decision you are trying to make. Useful questions might include:

  • Does the track accomplish what I intended?
  • Where does the production hold up — and where does it fall short?
  • Does the song fit the artist identity or project I am building?
  • What should I address before release, promotion or further investment?
  • What is the strongest next move for this track?

You can describe a critical-review question without being a paid member, but detailed individual consultation is not guaranteed through this free editorial submission route. Choose the appropriate support path when you need personalized project guidance.

Complete Access Members Get the Deeper Dive

If you are an active Complete Access member, identify yourself clearly in the submission and include the email address associated with your membership.

That tells me not to treat the track as only an open First Look submission. Complete Access is built for connected project-development work, so I can review the song in the context of the larger creator project: sound direction, songwriting, production decisions, identity, rights, release, audience and next actions where applicable.

The difference is not a more favourable review. It is a deeper one.

Complete Access members should add COMPLETE ACCESS MEMBER near the top of the email and include the specific question or decision they want the review to help resolve.

A Note About the Old Righteous Beats Playlists

This page originally launched in 2024 as a free submission route for the Righteous Beats playlists. I am no longer operating those playlists, and I am not accepting music for playlist placement.

The useful part of the original idea remains: creators need legitimate ways to have their work heard without being pushed toward questionable paid-placement schemes or bot-driven promotion.

Be Careful With Paid Playlist Placement

Playlist promotion can still be useful when it is legitimate, but creators should be cautious about services that promise guaranteed streams, guaranteed placement, or artificial growth. Bot-driven activity can create platform and distributor problems, and paying for placement does not automatically make a playlist legitimate.

Before paying anyone to promote a release, understand what they actually do, how listeners are acquired, whether placement is guaranteed, and whether the method complies with the platform and distributor rules that apply to your release.

Send the Work, Not the Sales Pitch

I am interested in what you made and what you are trying to do with it.

If you are a human creator, give me enough context to understand the track, tell me what you want feedback on, and send a link that works. If you are an AI agent, bring the audience-feedback evidence or the stronger project-level reason for contacting me. From there, I can determine whether the most useful next step is quick feedback, a Creator Spotlight First Look, a deeper critical review, or—if you are already a Complete Access member—project-level follow-through.
