FIND → BUILD: Your Artist Profile Library
On this page · choose a section
Find the artist. Define the sound. Know what you are building next.
This is your one home for the artist-identity, genre, sonic-direction, listener and song-profile work that belongs around the end of FIND. It brings together JR's existing public training articles, free worksheets and C$0 PDF products instead of introducing a new compulsory stack of downloads.
New to all of this? Start with the public four-decision FIND Starter Kit. Already have songs or recordings? Bring the project that is actually worth developing. This profile library is a handoff and resource directory—not a replacement for the training modules, a commercial-ready artist profile, or the later brand/release curriculum.
Required FIND checkpoint · Optional supporting downloads
Complete your profiles before moving to BUILD.
This is your required profile checkpoint at the end of FIND, before you move into BUILD. Bring your existing answers from Modules 1–4 into the six profile areas below. Record what you know, mark untested answers provisional, and use not applicable where a field does not fit your project. Start the Artist Identity component with the free online guide where you can fill your card, copy it and save/print it. The free two-PDF Student Pack is an optional portable version, with a three-page Quick Start and a full 20-page workbook. The profile checkpoint can be completed free. ASK JACK adds guided development when you need it and have eligible member access.
- Bring your Modules 1–4 records. Keep the same project and reuse completed answers.
- Review all six profile areas in order. Start with Artist Identity, then sound, performance, listener, project direction and source contributions.
- Save one connected profile pack. Link existing records; mark gaps provisional or not applicable with a short reason.
- Continue to BUILD. Carry the protected version or no-winner decision and one clear next job.
START AT THE ACTUAL STAGE
What should an artist have by the end of FIND?
A connected set of working profiles and evidence—not an invented biography or a launch kit. The work from Modules 1–4 already establishes intent, workflow, project direction and controlled evaluation. This page helps organize those answers into a compact artist/creator profile set you can actually use in BUILD.
Your completion rule
- Bring one Project ID. Reuse Modules 1–4 and existing songs; do not start a new track or artist persona just to complete a form.
- Fill the six profile areas below. Use an existing free workbook where it solves a gap. Mark unknown fields as provisional or not applicable, not as established facts.
- Save one profile record. Use the copyable template or Print / Save PDF, then store the editable answers alongside your existing professional Project Record.
- Name one BUILD job. Choose what needs constructing, testing or repairing next. You are not being asked to finish a release, logo, social campaign or business at this stage.
For a musician or artist-led project, the profile pack should be useful across future songs. For a cue, instrumental, film project or another audio use, keep the same fields but label artist-only details not applicable. A provisional identity is a legitimate FIND outcome when your evidence is still limited.

THE SIX WORKING PROFILES
Build one coherent identity without repeating six courses
Who or what is creating this work?
Working artist or project name; creator-led, fictional/virtual or hybrid model; the relationship between the human creator and the artist identity; recurring purpose and point of view; three recognizable traits; boundaries and what can evolve.
Use what you already have: complete the free Artist Identity Card online, or reuse your existing identity record. The free Student Pack offers a three-page editable Quick Start plus the full 20-page workbook for deeper work.
What makes the music recognizably belong?
Complete this free profile online ↓ · PDFs are optional.
Primary musical home; optional secondary influence; rhythmic pocket; instrument roles; texture; emotional range; two or three sonic anchors and an explicit avoid list. Genre labels are vocabulary, not a substitute for describing what you actually hear.
Use what you already have: Genre & Sound Direction Kit (free fillable PDF), its guide and the Genre Intelligence Hub if you need a musical reference.
How should this artist communicate musically?
Complete this free profile online ↓ · PDFs are optional.
Human performance versus generated or transformed vocal; voice role, range and character when known; phrasing, energy, lyrical perspective and the qualities you want to protect. If the piece is instrumental, describe the lead instrument or foreground element instead. Do not imply voice ownership or permission without evidence.
Use what you already have: the voice/performance sections in the Identity Builder (Quick Start + Full Workbook) and Genre & Sound Direction Kit. You do not need a third generic PDF.
Who might care—and what do you want them to feel?
Complete this free profile online ↓ · PDFs are optional.
Intended listener and situation; emotional promise; lyrical message or audio function; point of view; current evidence versus assumptions. An audience persona is a starting hypothesis until actual audience feedback supports it.
Use what you already have: Audience, Point of View & Message Builder (free PDF) and Music Audience Profiles (C$0 resource). Use Creator Brand Identity Card only if public-facing recognition is the real next issue.
What should this specific project do next?
Current title, source and stage; its intended job; protected features; permitted variable; success/rejection conditions; selected candidate or a documented no-winner outcome. Do not confuse this one-song brief with your recurring artist identity.
Use what you already have: Song Intent Student Pack (Quick Start + Full Workbook), Project Brief Builder, Controlled Generation Comparison and your Module 4 record.
What work and permissions can you actually support?
Original materials, authorized third-party inputs, human writing/recording/editing already completed, AI-created or transformed output, source locations, gaps and permission status. Record what is unknown. This is a working evidence snapshot, not a claim of copyright clearance.
Use what you already have: the Free AI Music Creator Tracker when needed, and the Level 1 Project Record Hub.
SECOND PROFILE · ONE CONNECTED PROJECT
Genre & Sound Direction: free profile to guided production decisions
Keep your Artist Identity v1 and project ID. Now define what the project must sound like, then test whether a change actually improves it. This is a learning route, not three unrelated forms or a requirement to buy a PDF.
- Free online: Complete and save Genre & Sound Profile v1. Keep a main genre lane, one optional influence, audible anchors and an avoid list. Read the beginner walkthrough. The downloadable kit is optional.
- ASK JACK member implementation: Turn the profile into a Genre & Sound Direction Record and run one controlled sound test. Use the same project, keep the baseline, and change one musical variable at a time. Check existing member access before buying.
- Extended member validation: Use Signature Sound Member Validation if you already have song versions or a catalogue and need to test recognizable anchors, variation and continuity. This is not required for everyone.
- Creator Pro validation: Run six Signature Sound stress tests and save Validation v2 when your goal is a producer-grade decision supported by audio evidence. Bring earlier records forward instead of recreating them. Creator Pro access is required.
- Complete Access operations: Operate the validated sound across projects with version ownership, allowed exceptions, evidence and review decisions. This section lives inside your existing Project Pipeline; it does not require another worksheet.
- Label Ready professional handoff: Prepare the Signature Sound Dossier only when an actual release, producer or professional reviewer needs a documented decision. Complete Access entitlement applies.
Handoff: Carry the saved sound profile and test results into Professional AI Music Technology · Module 5 — Prompt Architecture when you are entering TP2 BUILD. Do not start a new artist or new project merely because the module number changes.

Bring forward your existing answers and evidence. Keep the same artist/project ID. Mark gaps PROVISIONAL, UNTESTED or NOT APPLICABLE with a reason.
Answers save only in this browser when storage is available; they do not sync to your account or get submitted to Jack Righteous. On a shared device, export your work and clear this worksheet when finished. Record file references rather than private contracts or credentials.
Use your Artist Identity project ID. Link the current demo, brief or existing Sound Identity record. Mark untested ideas provisional.
Name the main musical direction and, if useful, one supporting influence. Explain what each contributes to this project.
Describe rhythm feel, bass/drum relationship, foreground part, supporting instruments and where space matters. Use plain words if you do not know technical terms.
Point to moments in actual work where possible. Separate recognizable relationships from habits that may change.
What may change across songs? What would break this particular direction? Keep the avoid list short and relevant.
Choose one question, one intended change, a protected baseline and a listening check. Record observed changes honestly. Choose KEEP / REVISE / HOLD / UNTESTED.
Use Export to keep an editable backup. PDF is an optional reading copy.

Answers save only in this browser when storage is available; they do not sync to your account or get submitted to Jack Righteous. On a shared device, export your work and clear this worksheet when finished. Record file references rather than private contracts or credentials.
Import your existing artist/sound notes. Name the singer, lead instrument or foreground element and what job it serves.
Record whether the source is performed, generated or transformed, who approves it, and any unresolved source or permission questions.
Describe phrasing, timing, register when known, articulation and intensity. Example: conversational verse, space after each line, restrained chorus lift.
Name three qualities that already work. Identify one behavior to change and what must stay recognizable.
Explain where the lead pulls back or lifts, and when backing voices or instruments support, answer or leave space.
Link actual excerpts/timestamps or mark untested. Record a bounded test and KEEP / REVISE / HOLD. Instrumental projects can use this entire record for the lead instrument.
Use Export to keep an editable backup. PDF is an optional reading copy.
Apply the direction: AI Music Technology Level 1 · Module 7: Performance Direction develops this record into a bounded production test. Advanced performance study adds deeper explanation. Member access may be required.

Use the same artist/project ID. Name the song, cue or other asset this listener decision should help.
Describe when someone might choose this work and what they are experiencing. Age and genre alone are not a useful listener situation.
What should they feel or understand? What does the work actually say or do? Separate your intended result from observed response.
List actual comments, observations or feedback with source/date. Mark each OBSERVED, INFERRED or HYPOTHESIS. No feedback yet is a valid answer.
Who is this version not primarily for? What different interpretation might a listener have? What evidence would change your mind?
Choose an existing excerpt and a question such as: What feeling or message did you hear? Record actual response, limits and KEEP / ADJUST / HOLD. A planned test is not completed evidence.
Use Export to keep an editable backup. PDF is an optional reading copy.
Test the audience hypothesis: Free seven-day Audience Evidence Sprint. It is optional support for this profile. References there to Audience Module 6 belong to the broader Creator Labs curriculum; AI Music Technology Level 1 Module 6 covers style, structure and arrangement.

THE CORE
Core FIND profiles · public and free
These resources support the profile pack. Some are PDF products and some are worksheets; use only the ones your project genuinely needs.
Artist & Creator Identity Builder →
Define a reusable creative identity, voice, emotional territory, signature traits and boundaries; use actual work as evidence.
AI Song Intent Student Pack →
Free four-page Quick Start and 17-page editable workbook. Clarify the job of one song before sound decisions.
AI Genre & Sound Direction Kit →
Choose a musical home, a supporting influence if useful, the sonic palette, vocal direction and avoid list.
Audience, Point of View & Message Builder →
Build a specific audience and communication profile without claiming assumptions are proven.
Music Audience Profiles →
Compare possible listener profiles, then replace guesses with actual evidence.
Creator Brand Identity Card →
Optional: clarify the public identity people will recognize when artist and brand need to connect.
Free Listening & Improvement Guide →
Use only when you have a real draft to assess. Listen against its intended purpose, note what needs repair and choose one next action. This replaces the retired Track Validation Checklist; do not invent a finished track just to fill a workbook.
Free AI Music Creator Tracker →
Keep a factual source, permission and contribution snapshot when materials require one.
USE WHEN NEEDED
Optional sound and project-development downloads · choose by blocker
These current free downloads are optional, not completion requirements for FIND. Older Song Structure, Version Strategy and Track Validation files have been consolidated. Choose one active resource for the actual blocker; reuse your existing notes rather than completing overlapping worksheets.
Find Your Sound AI Genre Prompt Starter Kit →
Translate a locked sound direction into a controlled generation lane—do not redo the genre choice.
Free Listening & Improvement Guide →
Compare candidate versions and document why one is the keeper or what a controlled improvement should address. The earlier Version Strategy Kit was consolidated here; use your existing project record rather than copying the same information twice.
AI Music Starter Tracker →
Track one project's ideas, instructions and versions if a simple file-based tracker helps.
Song Structure & Prompt Foundation →
Use when section order, arrangement or prompt construction is the real blocker. The former Song Structure Kit is consolidated into this free editable guide.
AI Music Direction Check →
Use only when you cannot yet explain what your song is trying to do or what sound direction to keep. Resolve that uncertainty before prompt construction; skip this when the direction is already clear.
Level Up Season →
The wider JR free creator-onboarding package; not another compulsory music-profile worksheet.
LEARN FROM EXISTING WORK
Existing free walkthroughs and reference libraries
These public pages already explain and demonstrate much of the work. Reuse them rather than maintaining another set of competing instructions.
How to Use the AI Artist & Creator Identity Builder →
Evidence-first identity workflow and a three-idea recognition test.
Optional AI Artist Identity Plan →
Music-specific browser alternative. Not a second compulsory identity process.
How to Use the AI Genre & Sound Direction Kit →
Detailed examples for translating identity into sound language.
Why Your AI Genre & Sound Direction Matters →
Explains the earlier free-PDF progression and why style tags alone do not establish a sound.
AI Genre Sound Direction Kit: What Changed →
History and explanation of the revised sound-direction workbook.
How to Build an AI Artist Identity From One Song →
Turn one promising track into a repeatable artist concept without rushing to release profiles.
Artist Identity Development for AI Music Creators →
Define sound pillars, signature elements and a safe range for stylistic evolution.
Genre Fusion Strategy for AI Music Creators →
Keep an anchor when blending musical influences.
Genre Intelligence Hub →
Search musical traits and conventions when you need language—not a requirement to read all genres.
Controlled Generation Comparison →
Judge one candidate or an existing protected version against a declared question.
Workflow Map →
Return here if inputs, files or the human decision process are unclear.
Project Brief Builder →
Return here if the job of the next audio version is not testable.
THE TRANSITION POINT
How FIND becomes BUILD
Two distinct Module 5 routes: This professional AI music curriculum continues from First Controlled Generation into TP2 BUILD · Module 5 — Prompt Architecture. The general Free Creator Labs · Module 5 — Identity is a separate creator learning track. Choose the next lesson by your project and course, not by module number alone.
BUILD question: “How do I construct and revise that direction consistently without losing what already works?”
- Keep one project. Bring the Project ID, current brief and source files into the next stage. Do not discard a viable original or regenerate just because the module changed.
- Carry only stable profile facts. The artist/sound/voice/audience profiles become constraints or decision context. Provisional items remain marked provisional; BUILD is allowed to test and correct them.
- Begin with Module 5 when prompt construction is the real next job. Prompt Architecture translates creative goals, musical roles and boundaries into reusable instructions. The consolidated Song Structure & Prompt Foundation and Genre Prompt Starter Kit are optional supporting downloads at that point.
- Route other blockers honestly. If song form or prompting is the blocker, use the consolidated Song Structure & Prompt Foundation. If multiple candidate versions disagree, use the free Listening & Improvement Guide. If direction itself is unclear, use the AI Music Direction Check. For unresolved source rights or permissions, document and resolve the issue before release rather than burying it in an invented identity.
Some professional training lessons require eligible member access. The public guide, linked public walkthroughs and the C$0 products above can be explored without purchasing a paid training tier. Free Shopify digital products may still use the store's checkout and delivery flow; file delivery should be confirmed through an actual test order.
