Winning Mother's Day with SUNO AI: My Journey to Creating a Top Song

I recently participated in a SUNO AI competition for Mother's Day, where subscribers were encouraged to create a reaction video to a custom song generated using SUNO AI. This experience was both challenging and rewarding, and I’m excited to share my journey with you.

1. The Announcement and Challenge: Suno AI announced the competition on their social media accounts, encouraging subscribers to create a reaction video of someone listening to a custom song generated using Suno AI. I saw the announcement on Friday, just two days before Mother’s Day, with submissions due by Tuesday.

2. Personal Struggles and Determination: I was nervous for several reasons. My mother and I have never had a warm relationship, which has influenced my passion for creating music. Additionally, I'm not comfortable showing much of myself publicly. However, I decided to confront my fears and produce like a winner.

3. The Creative Process: I spent Friday and Saturday morning working through multiple versions of the song until I finally confirmed my favorite track. I made it public on Suno AI listen here.

4. The Reaction and Outcome: By Wednesday, I received confirmation that I had won the top prize for my video, which you can watch on my YouTube channel. I also added the video to my Official Artist Channel on YouTube. The song quickly gained over a thousand plays on SoundCloud.

I’m so thankful to SUNO AI for this opportunity to start living my dream of being a music creator. This experience has motivated me to continue pushing forward and creating music that resonates with others.
