One Idea Sprint Day 4: Decide What Happens Next

Review the full four-day record, place the result honestly and make one responsible next decision.

Today’s practical job

Review the evidence from Days 1–3, choose the correct House and make the Operator decision. Bring all three earlier records. Do not generate another version before deciding what the existing test means.

Five steps for Day 4

  1. Review the Flame Statement. Did the test remain connected to the original idea and person?
  2. Review the Rock Check. What was confirmed, corrected or left unresolved?
  3. Review the Cycle Test Record. What evidence did the test produce?
  4. Choose the current House.
  5. Make and record the Operator decision.

Choose the result’s current status

Useful · another Cycle

The test taught something, but one defined issue still needs revision and retesting.

Useful · ready for placement

The result has a clear role and can enter the correct working, proof, public, commercial or archive system.

Promising · correction required

The idea remains valuable, but the Rock or Cycle record exposes a necessary fix.

Not useful now

The test did not support the current direction.

Unsupported or risky

The work should stop or seek qualified help.

Archive for later

The idea may matter, but it should leave active attention.

Choose the House

House Use it for Example
Working Private development Draft folder or production workspace
Proof Evidence and records Contribution notes, source records and versions
Public Audience experience Article, release, newsletter or webpage
Commercial Value exchange Product page, membership or licensed download
Archive Preservation without active work Retired version or paused concept

Worked example

What was confirmed: a beginner understands the purpose of the one-page guide.

What remains uncertain: two field labels caused hesitation.

Status: useful and ready for one revision Cycle.

House: Working House for revision; Proof House for test notes.

Operator decision: revise two labels and retest next Tuesday. Do not publish or package the guide yet.

Complete the final Sprint record
