This is not intended to replace church, pastoral guidance, personal prayer or Bible study. It is another way to pause during the week and spend a few focused minutes with Scripture.

Each episode begins with one passage rather than a broad motivational theme. It then considers how that passage speaks to experiences people actually live through: fear, grief, waiting, forgiveness, purpose, uncertainty, courage and hope.

The language is modern and personal. The goal is not to speak down to the listener or perform faith for an audience. The goal is to speak honestly with one person who may need the verse in that moment.

I have always believed music can help us process emotions that are difficult to explain. It can meet us before we have solved the problem, before we have organized the story and before we know what comes next.

My work through Jack Righteous already explores creativity, purpose, faith and the responsible use of new technology. Verse & Vision brings those paths together in a new audio format.

The technology helps make the production possible, but it is not the reason for the series. The reason is the listener who needs a few honest minutes with Scripture—and a reminder that weakness does not place them outside God's care.

I am building Verse & Vision openly. The pilot is not presented as a finished formula. It is the beginning of a series that will grow through better storytelling, thoughtful production and the verses listeners ask us to explore.
