The source does not dictate one creative voice. Your decisions create the voice.
Eden demonstrates why a creator must separate text from tradition before adapting either one. Genesis gives a sparse but powerful source field; Jewish, Christian, Islamic, scholarly and later alternative traditions add different interpretive layers. A creative work may choose one lens—or deliberately place several in tension—but it should not quietly promote added material into Scripture.
The discipline is: identify what the source says, understand the context, compare legitimate interpretations, decide what matters to your treatment, then label the point where reconstruction or invention begins.

The governing question
Is the story about losing Eden—or about restoration?
Genesis ends the Eden episode with the road to life guarded. Jewish, Christian and Islamic traditions build different answers around what follows. Christianity ultimately returns to Adam, the serpent and the Tree of Life through Christ and Revelation. The purpose of this hub is not to force those traditions into one conclusion. It is to show where the source ends, where interpretation begins and why the differences matter.
