xAI launched Grok 4.5 for coding, agentic tasks and knowledge work, with wider distribution through Grok products and the API.

Grok has free and paid consumer access, business and enterprise options, separate X subscription relationships and usage-based API access. Product access can differ by account, country, device and rollout stage.

Canada's Privacy Commissioner found that X and xAI violated federal private-sector privacy law after Grok's image tool launched without adequate safeguards or sufficient consideration of privacy harms. The regulator connected the failure to non-consensual sexualized deepfakes involving women and children.
xAI's acceptable-use rules prohibit real-person nudification and sexualization, child exploitation, impersonation and attempts to bypass safeguards. Written rules matter, but a policy is not proof that safeguards prevent harm consistently.

2. Save your direction
Keep the prompt, source material, reference notes, dimensions, rights decisions and approved versions.
3. Review continuity and truth
Check faces, hands, text, logos, products, locations, cultural details, dialogue and any implied factual claim.
4. Build the next asset deliberately
Turn the first image into a cover system, short campaign, story sequence or video plan—not unrelated generations.
5. Route attention somewhere you control
Use public platforms for reach, but maintain an owned page, email list, project archive or store.
