If the objective was never clear, write the most defensible intended job now and mark that ambiguity as a limitation.

2 · COMPARE — Give the signals context

3 · DIAGNOSE — What is the evidence suggesting?

4 · EVIDENCE SUFFICIENCY

Is the evidence strong enough for the decision?

CONTINUE OBSERVING is a valid decision. Match the size of the decision to the strength of the evidence.

5 · DECIDE — Choose one next move

Do not force a test when the correct decision is CONTINUE OBSERVING. Do not force a change when the evidence says KEEP. CHANGE can include refinement or expansion when evidence supports it.

6 · DEBRIEF — CLOSE THE LOOP

Turn this project into one better rule for the next brief.

Measurement tells you what happened after the work met the audience. A debrief connects that evidence back to how the work was directed, created and operated. Separate the kinds of evidence before deciding what you learned.

Do not turn one project into a universal platform rule. A result can support a scoped creative rule, a process rule or a platform observation. Broaden the rule only when repeated evidence earns that confidence.

Loop-back rule: the carry-forward rule becomes an input to the next DEFINE stage. If the lesson changes project direction, update the next Creative Direction Brief before generating again. Suno or any other platform can contribute evidence, but the platform does not own the lesson.

GPT can organize supplied metrics, compare like-for-like periods, summarize audience language, separate facts from assumptions, generate competing hypotheses, identify confounders and propose one controlled test.

Useful starting request:
“Use only the evidence in this record and the source data I provide. Separate observed facts, limitations, interpretations and hypotheses. Give me multiple plausible explanations and what evidence would distinguish them. Match the recommendation to the strength of the evidence. Do not invent analytics, reactions, causality, demand, market fit or commercial readiness.”

Keep human: whether the evidence is sufficient, what matters, final interpretation, commercial significance, risk tolerance and the final decision.

Pre-plan the review. Do not live-refresh the dashboard.

Choose a review window that fits the project and channel. Some signals arrive quickly; others need more time. Constant checking creates activity without necessarily creating better decisions.

The record passes when…

  • the intended outcome is explicit;
  • the evidence comes from a real action or delivery;
  • Module 14 evidence is carried forward where applicable;
  • facts, assumptions, limitations and hypotheses are distinguishable;
  • the evidence is compared with something meaningful where possible;
  • quantitative, qualitative and operational evidence are distinguished;
  • evidence sufficiency is considered before making a large decision;
  • the interpretation is written as a hypothesis when cause is uncertain;
  • one KEEP / CHANGE / TEST / STOP / CONTINUE OBSERVING decision is chosen;
  • the next test changes as few important variables as practical;
  • creative, process and platform/tool evidence are separated when relevant;
  • one scoped carry-forward rule is written and tied to actual evidence;
  • the rule’s confidence matches the strength and repetition of the evidence;
  • the next DEFINE brief can receive that rule before new generation or execution begins;
  • a future review window or evidence condition is set.
