How to Release AI Music on Audiomack
Audiomack allows creators to upload music directly, but “direct upload” should not be confused with “no release planning.” The important work is rights, identity, metadata, catalog consistency and a deliberate choice about how Audiomack fits your wider distribution plan.
First decide how Audiomack fits your catalog
There are two different reasons a creator might use Audiomack: as a direct publishing destination or as one platform inside a wider release operation. Make that decision before uploading. If a release is also being delivered through a distributor, keep artist naming, artwork, titles, versions and identifiers organized so you do not create needless catalog confusion.
Do not use Audiomack as a casual “test upload” for material you may later need to treat as a clean official release without first thinking through the metadata and rights record. Audience feedback can be useful, but the release itself still becomes part of your public catalog.
A rights-first Audiomack workflow
Confirm you can distribute the work
Audiomack’s Terms of Service place responsibility on the uploader to own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents and permissions for uploaded content. That includes the music and related material such as artwork and metadata. AI assistance does not remove that requirement.

Set the artist identity before the release
Use the artist name you intend to keep using. Keep spelling, capitalization and profile imagery consistent with the rest of your public catalog. If you already have an Audiomack presence, make sure you are publishing to the correct creator identity rather than creating a second fragmented profile.
Prepare clean release metadata
Have the final title, artist name, release type, artwork, credits and description ready before you open the uploader. Follow the current file and artwork requirements shown in Audiomack’s creator interface rather than relying on old dimensions or file-format lists copied from older guides.
Upload through the current creator tools
Audiomack currently provides creator tools for uploading and editing releases, viewing analytics, responding to comments and sharing music. Complete the upload using the current fields shown in the Creator Dashboard or creator app, then review the release information before publishing.
Verify the public release
After publication, check the public artist page and release itself. Confirm artwork, title, artist identity, track order and description. A successful upload is not the same thing as a successful catalog check.
Use the response as a signal, not a promise
Plays, favorites, comments and other audience activity can help you understand whether people are engaging, but they do not guarantee how the same release will perform elsewhere. Treat the data as one input into the next release decision.
Monetization: what Audiomack currently requires
Audiomack’s current monetization FAQ says creators must be authenticated and based in an eligible country to be paid through its monetization program. Authentication is for creators and rightsholders; users uploading music they did not create or do not control are not eligible for authentication.
Audiomack also states that monetizable content must be content you have the legal rights to upload. If monetization matters to your release plan, read the current Audiomack monetization FAQ before relying on eligibility or payment assumptions.
What the current terms mean for AI-assisted music
The official Audiomack materials reviewed for this update do not create a separate “AI music” upload category. The safer interpretation is to apply Audiomack’s ordinary creator and rightsholder requirements: you are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions and for not impersonating another artist or distributing infringing material.
That means the important question is not whether a file was made with AI somewhere in the workflow. It is whether you can responsibly distribute the finished work under the tool terms, collaborator agreements and rights that apply to it.
Common release mistakes
- Using a temporary artist name. Changing identity later can make your catalog harder to manage.
- Uploading before rights are clear. A platform accepting the file does not resolve ownership or permission questions.
- Copying old upload specifications. Use the current creator interface for file requirements.
- Treating comments or plays as proof of future revenue. Engagement is useful information, not a forecast.
- Creating duplicate release records casually. Plan how direct uploads and distributor-delivered releases fit together before publishing the same material in multiple ways.
