Launch Your Facebook Page With Muse: A Beginner's First 30 Days

Launching a Facebook Page doesn't mean launching everything at once. Start with the Page itself. Make sure it represents your project clearly. Then use Muse to help you write a welcome message and prepare the first week. Only after that should you worry about building a routine.

That's exactly the order I'm using while helping The Steady Center's Facebook Page get started. It's a real Page and a real onboarding project, not a pretend case study. I haven't independently inspected its private settings or claimed publishing results we haven't measured.

This is your start-here hub for the first 30 days. It links to two focused tutorials, so you can choose the step you're actually working on instead of following a giant checklist.

THE SIMPLE ORDER

Page → Muse → Welcome → First week → Month one

Facebook first. Muse Free to start. Human review before publishing. Instagram later, only if it makes sense.

STEP 1 · FACEBOOK PAGE SETUP

Make sure your Page is ready for visitors.

Don't start by posting every day. Check the Page name, username, category, profile image, cover, About description, official website, action button, appropriate sections, contact options, ownership and notifications. Then view it from a visitor's perspective.

If you're helping somebody who already created their Page, work on that existing Page. Don't make another account. This is the stage The Steady Center is working through now.

Finish line: A new visitor can tell who the Page serves, what it shares and where to go next. The Page owner has reviewed the public information and permissions.

This checklist lives in the existing How to Grow Your Facebook Audience Without Ads article, so we build on the existing Facebook creator series rather than duplicate it.

STEP 2 · MUSE + YOUR FIRST POSTS

Give Muse one useful job: prepare your welcome.

Once the Page looks right, visit Muse's official website or install its app through the official link. Start with the free option; there's no reason to upgrade just to experiment with your first messages.

Connect the correct Facebook Page in Muse's connected-app settings when available. Tell Muse about your project and audience. Have it draft the welcome message first, then two useful follow-up posts for the first week. Review everything before publishing through the available Facebook workflow.

Finish line: One owner-approved Facebook welcome message plus two reviewed first-week drafts, with accurate links and an image plan. Nothing posts without approval.

Open the Muse welcome-post tutorial →

It includes install and Free-tier guidance, Facebook Page connection, a project brief, three copyable prompts and the Steady Center example. For my broader impressions, read My First Week Testing Muse.

STEP 3 · A REALISTIC FIRST MONTH

Now keep showing up without turning this into another job.

Two useful posts per week is a realistic starting target, not a rule imposed by Facebook. The goal is consistency, not flooding a new Page with filler. Your first week may include the introductory post as an extra because you're launching.

Stage What gets finished
Week 1 Page audit, accurate bio and links, owner-approved welcome and the first two drafts.
Week 2 One helpful explanation and one authentic look behind the project.
Week 3 Answer a real beginner question and share a useful approved example.
Week 4 Continue the rhythm, review actual questions and insights, plan next month.

Measure what matters: Was the Page easy to understand? Were the posts accurate? Did anyone ask a meaningful question, visit the relevant link or return? Did Muse make drafting easier, or create additional editing work? A few thoughtful comments are more informative than empty promises of going viral.

When you've got a working routine and a clear next step for your followers, move to The Facebook Creator Growth System for deeper guidance on rules, audience, site links and measuring progress.

One Page. One welcome. Two good posts.

Start there. Let the work get easier before you add more channels or complexity.
