Uber Eats Planner in the U.S.: How Reserved Delivery Times Work
Uber introduced Planner as a way for U.S. couriers to reserve delivery time in advance. That changes the old assumption that every courier can simply go online anywhere at any moment.
What Planner does
Uber says Planner lets couriers choose delivery times in advance and reserve access to a delivery zone. New reservation times open weekly, with access timing tied to Uber Eats Pro status.
How status changes access
Uber currently says Green couriers can begin reserving Fridays at 10 a.m. local time, Gold on Thursdays at 10 a.m., while Platinum and Diamond couriers can go online anytime without reserving. Availability can vary by market and rollout.
What the offline heatmap means
Uber describes red as very busy, orange as busy, yellow as less busy and gray as at capacity. Green and Gold couriers may need a reservation for gray zones, while higher-status couriers have broader access.

What I would do with it
Use Planner to test repeatable shifts instead of chasing screenshots. Reserve a lunch block, a dinner block and a weekend block, then compare actual net results with the Profit Starter Kit.
