Listen to the Verse & Vision pilot episode

The first episode begins with Romans 8:26 and a deeply human question: what happens when you want to pray, but cannot find the words?

Pilot Episode · Romans 8:26

When Words Fail

A Christian reflection on prayer, weakness and the help of the Spirit.

Sometimes you know you need God's help, but you cannot explain what is wrong. You may be carrying grief, exhaustion, fear, shame, confusion or a feeling that has no simple name.

Romans 8:26 does not treat weakness as spiritual failure. It reminds us that even when our thoughts are tangled, our emotions are heavy, or silence is all we have, we are not praying alone.

Begin here, before everything is fixed.

Verse & Vision starts in the real moment—not after you have found the answer, organized your emotions or learned how to say the perfect prayer. Even when your words fail, you are not beyond the reach of prayer.

The series

What is the Verse & Vision Christian podcast?

Verse & Vision is a short-form Christian faith podcast that connects individual Bible verses with honest reflection, prayer and everyday life.

This is not intended to replace church, pastoral guidance, personal prayer or Bible study. It is another way to pause during the week and spend a few focused minutes with Scripture.

Each episode begins with one passage rather than a broad motivational theme. It then considers how that passage speaks to experiences people actually live through: fear, grief, waiting, forgiveness, purpose, uncertainty, courage and hope.

The language is modern and personal. The goal is not to speak down to the listener or perform faith for an audience. The goal is to speak honestly with one person who may need the verse in that moment.

Why I created it

Music can carry what ordinary conversation cannot

I have always believed music can help us process emotions that are difficult to explain. It can meet us before we have solved the problem, before we have organized the story and before we know what comes next.

My work through Jack Righteous already explores creativity, purpose, faith and the responsible use of new technology. Verse & Vision brings those paths together in a new audio format.

The technology helps make the production possible, but it is not the reason for the series. The reason is the listener who needs a few honest minutes with Scripture—and a reminder that weakness does not place them outside God's care.

I am building Verse & Vision openly. The pilot is not presented as a finished formula. It is the beginning of a series that will grow through better storytelling, thoughtful production and the verses listeners ask us to explore.

How it is made

Produced with Suno, directed by Jack Righteous

Verse & Vision is produced using Suno as the audio-generation platform. Each episode begins with an original concept, Scripture selection and written reflection, followed by deliberate prompting, narration direction, pacing choices and repeated revision until the result supports the message.

Suno is the production tool—not the author of the purpose

The words, episode structure, spiritual focus and final creative decisions are human-led. Suno is used to help create the spoken performance, musical underscore and finished audio presentation.

That distinction matters. Verse & Vision is not a one-click generation project. It is a directed creative process built around Scripture, editorial judgment and the emotional experience of the listener.

Creating spoken faith reflections in Suno requires different prompting choices than creating a conventional song. These Jack Righteous guides explain the skills used to control structure, narration, lyrics and musical direction:
