Trump’s Legacy Play: How Ivanka Could Shatter the Glass Ceiling in 2028
As Donald Trump steps back into the Oval Office, the world watches with both excitement and anxiety. While his critics fear an authoritarian approach, it’s possible that Trump’s second term could mark the beginning of a legacy he’s always sought—one that may position his daughter Ivanka Trump to become America’s first female president in 2028. Trump’s methods, relationships with world leaders, and responses to pressing domestic issues could open a path for Ivanka to follow in his footsteps.
Having been critical of Trump in the past, I can say there’s reason to believe that his strategies could backfire. But so far, he has proven resilient, gaining strength where others expected him to falter. It may be time to give Trump his due and see whether he can channel this momentum into a legacy that goes beyond his own tenure.
Foreign Relations: Trump’s Diplomatic Edge
Trump has always touted his strong relationships with international leaders, from Putin to Netanyahu, and he believes that these ties enable him to keep foreign tensions in check. Trump’s confidence in his ability to negotiate with global powers is grounded in one key principle: they respect his unpredictability and the weight of American power he commands.
Russia and China
Trump sees his relationship with Russia’s Putin as an asset, arguing that his approach—direct and often transactional—deters Putin from escalating conflicts. With China, the stakes are even higher, as the country’s partnership with Russia grows stronger. Trump’s assertive stance, combined with his efforts to re-shore manufacturing, signals to China that he’s willing to play hardball. Trump firmly believes that his relationships are not a liability but a strength, making leaders think twice before pushing the limits. If he can maintain this posture, he could establish a more secure and balanced global order, one that Ivanka could inherit.
The Middle East: Israel and Palestine
Trump has a track record in the Middle East, having successfully brokered the Abraham Accords, easing tensions between Israel and some Arab nations. He believes he can continue this progress by leveraging his close relationship with Israel’s Netanyahu and maintaining an assertive stance on Palestinian matters. Trump’s view is clear: only he can broker peace because his presence commands respect. If he manages to achieve any form of stability here, it would not only bolster his legacy but provide Ivanka with a powerful diplomatic foundation to build upon.
Domestic Challenges: The Real Test of Trump’s Legacy
While Trump’s foreign strategy may solidify his reputation on the world stage, the domestic landscape presents an entirely different challenge. Many of Trump’s supporters expect him to address key issues like immigration, inflation, and abortion with concrete solutions.
Immigration Reform
Immigration has been a defining issue for Trump since his first campaign, and it remains a hot topic. The 2024 election results clearly indicated that voters are frustrated with the current system, and they expect swift changes. Trump’s supporters see him as the leader who will secure the border and restructure immigration pathways. If he succeeds, this could give Ivanka a strong policy platform, aligning her with the majority of Americans who now want a more controlled immigration system.
Economic Stability and Inflation
Trump’s promises to lower grocery and utility bills are specific, and he will need to deliver. His critics argue that the economy was already on an upswing, but if he manages to shift the narrative and take credit for improvements, it could be a major win. For Ivanka, inheriting a stronger economy could provide an ideal launchpad. However, if Trump falls short on this front, it could weaken his brand, creating an opening for his opponents.
Abortion and State vs. Federal Control
Trump’s stance on abortion—leaving it to the states—is nuanced, especially as some Republicans push for a federal pro-life mandate. Trump’s approach allows him to appeal to his conservative base while maintaining a broader appeal. If he can navigate this issue without alienating either faction, he could set a precedent of balanced conservatism that Ivanka could carry forward.
January 6th and Legal Challenges
The shadow of January 6th looms large, with special counsel Jack Smith investigating Trump’s role. A recent Supreme Court decision granting Trump more legal leeway in office will likely come under scrutiny. How he handles these challenges will shape public opinion and either reinforce his image as resilient or deepen existing divisions. For Ivanka, this will be a crucial factor; Trump’s ability to navigate legal obstacles without compromising his leadership could reinforce her bid, while missteps may hinder her path to the presidency.
Ivanka in 2028: The Glass Ceiling in Trump’s Shadow
If Trump successfully tackles these foreign and domestic challenges, he could set the stage for Ivanka to shatter the glass ceiling and become the first female president in 2028. Ivanka has always been an influential figure in her father’s campaigns and administration, known for her poised presence and moderate appeal. Her ability to carry forward Trump’s policies while bringing a more polished approach could attract independents and moderates, positioning her as the modern face of the Republican Party.
However, there’s an interesting twist in the story—one that conspiracy theorists have noticed. If Ivanka ascends to the presidency, her husband, Jared Kushner, would become the First Gentleman. Kushner, who famously resides in a New York apartment marked as 666, has been noticed by some for his “Damien-like” aura, almost as if he were born to play the role. While it’s easy to laugh off, it adds a layer of intrigue for those who see prophecy or dark symbolism in the political sphere.
Trump Is Not the Second Coming
While some may see Trump’s rise and return as a messianic moment, let’s be clear: Trump is not Jesus, nor any form of a second coming. Jesus gave two prime commandments: Love God above all and Love your neighbor as yourself. Trump’s actions and rhetoric reflect neither of these, and at times even contradict them. Yet, some followers will invoke freedom of speech to justify their belief in Trump as a modern-day savior or the second coming of Christ. They have every right to hold that belief, and I’m not here to deny their right to feel that way.
However, I firmly reject the accuracy of these claims, just as I would dismiss flat-Earth theories. The evidence, from Trump’s own actions and statements, doesn’t support any alignment with Jesus’s teachings. For those seeking constructive conversations with Trump supporters, perhaps the starting point is this: recognize their right to their beliefs, but begin with clarity—Trump is not Jesus in any way, shape, or form.
That said, if the Bible holds any truth about future events, it may be that a figure like Trump was foretold. He currently leads the most powerful nation on Earth, at a moment when Israel stands re-established for an unprecedented third time, surrounded by enemies on all sides. But even if Trump plays a role in a larger story, let’s remember that role is not as a savior. The Bible’s guidance on this is clear: watch the signs, but don’t mistake power for divinity.
In this time of division and high stakes, we need discernment, honesty, and respect to navigate the path forward. If Trump’s legacy is to pave the way for someone new—potentially even his daughter—to lead, it will be a legacy built on his influence, not divine endorsement.
