Build Launch Content & Outreach Inventory
WHERE YOU ARE: The release path exists. Now turn the approved visual/copy system and any usable existing content into enough launch opportunities to support the song without rebuilding the campaign from zero.
YOU SHOULD ALREADY HAVE
- Discovery & Audience Path Record.
- Visual & Copy Packet.
- Release date and working release destination.
- Any existing creator content, campaign assets, footage or outreach relationships that genuinely fit this song.
THE DECISION
Which small set of assets gives this song multiple useful angles before, during and after release?
DO THE WORK
- Audit the Visual & Copy Packet and existing content inventory. Mark useful assets REUSE, promising assets ADAPT and genuine gaps CREATE.
- Choose 3–5 content angles rooted in the actual release: strongest musical moment, lyric/story, creator decision, visual world, performance/process or listener context.
- Prepare a minimum viable asset inventory for the channels you genuinely use. One strong vertical clip can be adapted; you do not need a unique campaign for every platform.
- Assign each asset a job: awareness, context, release click, conversation, proof or follow-up—and record its source asset/evidence.
- Create a simple pre-release, release-day/week and post-release sequence. Do not require daily posting unless your existing audience/workflow supports it.
- Prepare direct outreach only for people or communities with a plausible reason to care. Reuse real relationships and context instead of turning them into generic bulk outreach.
- If YouTube is part of the launch, define the upload type—official audio, visualizer, lyric video, performance or other useful format—and check any applicable AI/synthetic disclosure requirement.
- Leave room after release for signal-led content. Do not pre-build 90 days of material before you know what listeners respond to.

SAVE THIS
Create the Launch Asset & Outreach Calendar: each asset/outreach action, REUSE/ADAPT/CREATE status, source record/file, its job, intended channel/audience, planned window and operating status. Keep it short enough to use.
DO NOT ADVANCE IF
- You have no usable launch asset beyond the cover image.
- The campaign requires a posting volume you already know you cannot sustain.
- Every asset says the same thing in the same way.
- Outreach is a generic mass list with no relevance logic.
- You are recreating valid assets or changing brand identity without a documented release reason.
READY TO CONTINUE WHEN
You have enough prepared material to support launch, the source/role of each asset is clear, and enough flexibility remains to respond to real signals afterward.
