VIP rule: Start with fewer instructions. If the generation misses, add one correction at a time. Do not bury the musical priority under a giant tag pile.

remove drums for the final two bars before the hook, let the vocal carry the transition, then return with full low end and background layers
Move 04
keep both verses nearly identical in instrumentation, but make verse two feel later in the song through extra response vocals and one new counterline
Move 05
build the final chorus with vocal doubles, harmony layers and one additional rhythmic part; do not simply make every instrument louder
Move 06
use a stripped bridge with reduced low end and fewer drums, then restore the original groove for the final hook so the return feels earned
Fix Bad Results Without Starting Over
Too generic
Replace broad labels with relationships. Instead of “modern R&B,” specify what bass, drums, harmony and vocal space are doing.
Too busy
Delete adjectives before adding more. Protect the groove and remove secondary instrumentation, extra fills and constant background vocals.
Hook does not lift
Ask for width, harmony or a rhythmic change. Do not automatically request louder drums or more instruments.
Vocals over-sing
Use words such as restrained, conversational, narrow-range, selective runs, short endings and sparse ad-libs.
Wrong genre center
Identify the nearest wrong answer. Then correct one relationship that caused the drift: pocket, 808 behavior, harmony, vocal phrasing or arrangement.
Every version sounds the same
Keep the core lane fixed and deliberately mutate only one variable: groove, low end, harmony, texture, vocal behavior or section movement.
