Free Find Your Sound Worksheet · Creative Validation

Decide whether the track is strong enough to move forward.

The AI Track Validation Checklist helps you judge a finished AI-assisted track against its intended creative job, record the evidence, and choose the smallest useful next action.

This is a creative-quality checklist. It does not clear rights, guarantee distribution acceptance, provide legal advice, or replace release-readiness documentation.

Validate against the intended job

A private gift song, background instrumental, soundtrack cue, social hook test and serious public single do not need identical standards. First define what the track is supposed to do. Then judge whether the result does that job well enough.

Review the evidence across

  • purpose fit;
  • genre / sound-lane fit;
  • structure and progression;
  • core payoff strength;
  • energy and movement;
  • vocal or lead fit where relevant;
  • clarity and focus;
  • replay or reuse value;
  • the one must-win element for this specific track.

No automatic “hesitation = fail” rule

Uncertainty can signal a real weakness, incomplete evidence, listener fatigue or an unclear standard. Record what you know, what remains weak and what still needs a test. Do not manufacture certainty.

JR Creator Intelligence placement

Training Intelligence: TI #4 · Finish the Work, with evidence feeding TI #15 · Measure & Improve.
Genre Intelligence: confirm the intended lane survived the finished result.
Production Intelligence: route structure, vocal, arrangement, energy, clarity or other production weaknesses to the correct repair system.

Choose the next action from the evidence

  • KEEP — strong enough for its intended current job.
  • REFINE — one or two clear issues remain; protect what works.
  • REWORK — foundational problems remain; return to the owning decision.
  • DISCARD — the direction is not worth further investment relative to stronger alternatives.
  • CONTINUE OBSERVING — evidence is incomplete or conflicting; run one focused test.

If the track is creatively ready for public release

Move into the dedicated release-readiness and rights resources rather than forcing those jobs into this checklist:

Sequence

creative validation → targeted repair if needed → release-readiness / rights check if the track is going public → distribution workflow.
