Why V6 changes the workflow
Suno's current V6 release supports plain-language editing of part of an existing song while preserving the rest, and current editing tools include Replace Section, lyric changes and Extend. Feature names and interfaces can move; the evergreen principle is preserve the survivor and repair the smallest credible unit.
